Gee, you don't think this is foreshadowing anything, do you?

climbs over an anvil
I don't know what you're talking about...
Heh.
Yeah - enjoyable ep. I've always liked Barry Bostwick, and I did here, too. Poor, sad dude. I really loved the boys just kind of being sorta dumb and getting caught. Got to happen every once in a while, right?
Sammy, I'm not sure you pulled the right lesson here, but... should make life interesting.

I couldn't agree more, but I have to admit to being really disappointed in Sam.
I ... guess I'm in the minority, 'cos I found this ep reeeeeaaally clunky. Clunky dialog, clunky direction of how the actors delivered the lines. And the boys not thinking about what might happen when you tie up a stage magician made me roll my eyes so hard I thought they were going to get stuck.
Jeez, show, is it possible you could be any LESS subtle?
Who wrote that?
I am with Consuela and Jilli. I think the clarinet has little tiny anvils dropping out of it, as well.
(Also, I bristled a bit at the snarky comment about Bobby being the poster-child for aging gracefully. Because Bobby is awesome, dammit. And smarter than the boys.)
Oh thank god it's not just me. I've been pissy all day, and sort of assumed I was taking it out on Show. Good to know--wait, no. It's not a good thing how clunky, disjointed, and lumpy this episode was.
Be better, Show!
Well, not too many people have weighed in yet, so you might not ultimately be in the minority. (ETA: Ha! See?)
The tying up bit just made me laugh. I just... I've been there, maybe is why I find it so funny. I mean, clearly not there there, but so sure of myself that I didn't even bother to check the (il)logic of what I was doing and then, boom - there I'd be, flat on my ass wondering, "What the hell just happened??"
The point about anvils, I got no quarrel with, as noted.
