I think Sam is too on the edge right now for that level of dissembling. Rage issues, after all, tamped down inexpertly.
I think you might be right. But snap out of it, buddy, there's an Apocalypse on!
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

And Sam didn't call Bobby because ...
Because Bobby has joined the Occult Researchers Witness Protection Program*, specifically so Sam and Dean can't call him. This way, Bobby lives!
Misha cracks my shit up again talking about verification.
I cling to this belief, don't mock me.
Mock you? I am requesting literature.
Just this once, people close to the Winchesters live...
Mock you? I am requesting literature.
The first rule of the Occult Researchers Witness Protection Program is ...
actually, the first rule is probably Don't answer the phone if it's either of the Winchesters, not Don't talk about the ORWP.
As much as I seem to be fixated on Winchester pain, I would like a happy ending for Bobby, and...something for Castiel. I don't miss Bobby as much as I miss Castiel because I, like Jilli, think Bobby is safer offscreen.
Castiel needs onscreen fixing.
I'm not saying that I want anything bad to happen to Castiel. I like him too. But I really feared he was in danger of being overused and I am relieved TPTB had him sit out a few episodes. He's a super-spicy condiment that needs to be sprinkled sparingly so as not to wear out his impact. (Much as Spike did, to point out one obvious example.)
I fear Bobby is a done deal. They've been killing off every other touchstone the boys have had in their lives, and I think Bobby is the last person they can cling to. If the show is going to go for another season (?maybe? do we know yet? and the Winchesters are going to come back for it (I'm assuming) then the writers will need to off someone else, so who's left? ...drumroll... Bobby. Or maybe Metallicar will stay dead this time.
Show's coming back for a season 6. I guess they could decide they only need one other recurring/regular character and make that Castiel since Misha's such a fan frenzy-maker. But more people must like Bobby than Castiel. Castiel's an interloper. He's cool, but he's Angel-come-lately.
Man, I wanted to be late into work so I could catch all of the season finale in one sitting. But I'm being a responsible, relatively non-obsessive grownup.
And just posting about it this time.
There's some debate in this episode, as far as I got, as to whether Meg's a demon or a possessed human. What's the tally of straight up non-exorcisable demons that we've seen? Also, how could Bobby tell by looking that she was a possessed woman and not 100% demon?
Show's coming back for a season 6.
Has that been ultrasuperconfirmed yet?
Has that been ultrasuperconfirmed yet?
Not ultrasuper, I guess. I've seen it in a number of places, but I haven't been able to tell if they've all sourced it from a common cite.
