With all the battling, especially now, you don't think demons would brush up on their angel info, wrt consent?
Who would they consult? Angels generally seem to take a kill on sight approach to confrontations with demons without much chitchat, and Lucifer doesn't strike me as the sort to explain all the nuances of his restrictions to his underlings. Especially since he now knows at least some of them are working against him.
The confrontation with John, with Dean playing mediator, is so powerful. DEAN. And later John and Sam finally realizing that they're more alike than either of them imagined.
I wasn't sure if I was supposed to - if Sam was trying (badly) to mimic Dean's "shove it all down" instructions or not.
I think this is true. I think given everything Sam's been through, he's not even willing to think about what it would mean to *want* those kinds of roots and commitments the way he once did. Sadly, I think this is partly because he sees himself as tainted, and hardly a safe bet for anyone who doesn't know what they do about things that go bump in the night.
Did you buy that?
I did, partially because he had so little patience or wistfulness for the family setup when he got thrust into it. I understand that getting back to Dean is job #1, but there wasn't even a sideways glance at family.
Everyone keeps calling him Trip!
I heard Trevor! And I found a casting call that also referred to him as Trevor!
Everyone keeps calling him Trip!
They called him Trip onscreen. Stuck with me more than any mention of him as Trevor.
Is Trip a common nickname for Trevor? I never even heard that onscreen. Hrm.
Maybe they were calling him Trev. My sound kept jumping out at awkward times, so I just grabbed the last name I saw for Blond Dude here.
Maybe they were calling him Trev.
That's what I thought they were saying.
