Using white font just in case. Kripke has been pretty adamant the Lucifer arc will be resolved at the end of Season 5. He's also been vague about whether he will be involved beyond a fifth season. Regardless of Kripke's status as showrunner, the boys are both committed to a sixth season should the show be renewed.

Personally, I hope season 5 is the end, but that's the CW's call. If they do renew, I'm gonna be a Sam-and-Dean fangirl, and I'll park my rear end in front of my TV on Thursday nights and watch 'em.

make God the big bad for Season 6.

That's what I was thinking about when it still looked like the Colt would work. If they succeeded in taking Lucifer out halfway through the season, what then? But if the last time the Pale Rider was out in the world was the Flood, and the Flood was on God's orders...but then it turned out that math didn't need doing.

The boys are being told over and over again how parallel their stories are to Michael's and Lucifer's, and can't they see they MUST follow the same road as Michael and Lucifer? However, one thing is glaringly different: Whereas Lucifer and Michael's relationship seems irrevocably severed, Sam and Dean have overcome what separated them and are united again in common purpose. While Sam was confronting Lucifer, I kept hoping Sam would point out that distinction to Lucifer.

I do worry that Castiel's powers will eventually diminish to the point where he can't "beam" himself and the boys out of harm's way.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

It's starting to bug me how everyone has to point out that Sam & Dean are the Chosen Ones because they are brothers who fought and betrayed each other. As if that's so very uncommon.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Amy Berg, Leverage writer, watched last night's SPN for Mark Sheppard and fell for Misha and wants to cast him, she tweeted. Misha says anytime.

That would be happymaking.
