I just think it's rather odd that a nation that prides itself on its virility should feel compelled to strap on forty pounds of protective gear just in order to play rugby.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Oh, oh, I'm broken. Oh, DEAN.

At some point the writers are going to throw JP a bone and let Sam have some storylines too, right?

Because books.

OMG DEAN. DEEEEEAAAANNNNN.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I think he's been awesome with his emotional range dealing with JA and not getting lost in the background. Most other actors would have disappeared. imho. I'm guessing he could be pretty grateful down the line for the training he's getting now.

eta: magicians? Dude, first clowns, now magicians. I may have to give up this show.

Yeah, but I'm not so interested in watching JP get training -- I want to watch the brothers Winchester fight evil and do their snarky bantering and such. As a team. Two of them. Not just the all-Dean, all the time show.

Because books.

That was a scary episode. Weirdly, in that SPN meme going around today, I mentioned The Benders as one of the scariest eps for me, precisely because of the human factor. ::shudders::

Dean's reaction to the grandpa baby daddy? Priceless.

That line about smelling that "every day," I found incredibly sad as well. DEAN.

I will note that I would like them to stop ending episodes with the SamandDean heartfelt conversation wrap-up.

I am okay with keeping the Sam and Dean convo tag at the end. I've come to expect and enjoy it. But I'm ready to vary the convo.

eta: I think of it as a Supernatural "thing" and wait to see if they are talking, not talking, facing each other, looking away, etc.

As soon as I saw the car pulled over, I had the same reaction. I like that the two of them are actually having a conversations (or, I guess, Dean is having soliloquies and Sam is listening to him), but they really need to find a way to integrate them into the show better.
