I want to like this episode so much more than I do. Bobby in peril! In existential angst! Dean in danger! Sam trying to save them both! And yet I find myself bored.

Dean said that he and Sam don't have much left, and that he can't do it without Bobby. Bobby's family, and he doesn't ever want to hear Bobby talk about checking out again. Bobby said okay (I think he may have said thank you and may have said he needed to hear that; I should have listened more closely... I was kind of distracted by the pretty at that point) and asked if they could get out of the room before they grew lady parts. Dean agreed, picked up a partially eaten hamburger and threw it away. He said "Let's go, Ironsides!"
Bobby grumbled "Oh that one's staying, huh?" and looked sadly skyward toward the camera and the show ended.
