I feel sorry for poor little deeemonic Jesse.

Oh Jesse, don't go bad! I like you!
God, this poor kid. I wonder if this storyline is over.
Oh, boys.
Isn't it on next week? Or is it a repeat?
I wonder if this storyline is over.
I simultaneously found myself not wanting to see a kid around Bobby all the time, and yet wanting to see Uncle Dean and Uncle Sammy.
Me too. He was such a cute kid. They get good child actors on this show.
I have to think we'll see Jesse again at some point. Maybe more towards the end of the season.
In a fight against the devil and in a search for god, The Boy Who Would Be Antichrist doesn't seem like a character to introduce and then sweep under the carpet.
I doubt that's the last we see of him.
Oh, and that scratching through your skull to your brain thing? Actually happened. (Not itching powder related, I should note. And really, was that ever actually a kid-urban-legend? I suspect that one was more of a L&O style ripped from the headlines obscure medical journals.)
Yeah, scratching your brains out was new to me.
But I also have a hard time with an eleven-year-old who still believes in (and is scared of?) the tooth fairy, but I will apply handwavium! It's so useful.
The kid was GREAT. Those eyes.
The episode seemed to go so quickly, didn't it? And Ever Carradine was also fantastic, but she usually is. Really interesting idea, which they've before explored -- half-demon children. Seems like if Azazel had a plan for his Special Kids, why weren't more demons out there procreating?
