I would bet they're going to play it for laughs, but some horror will prevent Castiel's ... happy ending. Or something. It seems early in the season for a purely fun episode.
Although if Jeremy Carver is writing, I'll go there and probably love it. I've loved everything he's done so far.
Also, Bert and Ernie! Oh, DEAN.
Someone on my flist asked if the Impala could be steed for one of the horsemen.
Okay, I watched the preview. What struck me? That's the house (set) where they laid Sam out in Cold Oak. My mind is a strange place.
Oh, dear. Just watched the sneak peek. I'm not sure if I'm going to be laughing myself sick or cringing so hard I turn inside-out.

Black = famine, right?
A friend of mine pointed out that because of its logo, a Ferrari would be an excellent candidate for one of the Horsemen.

According to the CW site, he is indeed the writer for this week. Which other episodes did he do?
I think I can handle meta in a comedy (like Psych) better than I can in a drama. On Supernatural, the meta tends to give me hives, and I shout at the screen "oh, my god, STOP DOING THAT."
In other news, I have been and continue to be totally on board with the Dean/Ellen train WHOOT WHOOT.

My iPhone agrees. (What? It's totally my writing pad now.)
SADLY, this means I need to a: hurry up before I'm Jossed (I'd love to be Kripked, but I fear that won't happen); and b: not read Dotfic's until I've finished.
Mrph.

So far, Psych loses for not being able to resist mentioning The Mentalist. I can't explain why I don't think that's remotely funny, but I can't get over Dean's disgust at Wincest.

I need to admit my cluelessness on this. What are the definitions of being Jossed and being Kripked?
Being Jossed means canon does not follow your projected storyline. Being Kripked means canon falls pretty much in line with what you wrote.
There are a huge number of fans of SPN who are not only not a part of fandom, but who are unaware of fandom. And then there are those in fandom who are adamantly opposed to slash of any kind, and for whom incest is considered an abomination. Dean's disgust with the idea of Wincest doesn't surprise me at all.
It's one thing for fans of pulp books to write and share their own stories, including but not restricted to Wincest. It's quite another for a character who's "living" a "real life" to admit any interest in or approval of such a notion, is I think where that attitude is coming from.
