Thank dog for a dual tuner. And, I guess, Hulu. Because I know Thursdays are going to mess me up when they get into full flow. If only I could toss Grey's.

Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
Yeah, we still have no DVR, so I'm going to Hulu Fringe, sadly. I love it, but not as much as my Winchesters.
Well, Amy, there is the advantage of less commercials that way. I think that's what I will do, because the CW takes it's sweet time to post the episodes.
I think there is something on every major channel on Thursdays that I want to watch, possibly both at 8 and 9. It's a stumbling block in my plan to switch to DirectTV that I don't know if the service will play nice with cobbled together system of recording devices of various ages - right now I've got a Tivo and the Mac mini hooked up to the unscrambled cable feed, but I assume that would go away were I to switch over and hooking up multiple satellite receivers to the same TV seems like a bad idea in some way.
I just am grateful to networks for streaming full episodes when there are more than two shows in a time slot on a given night. Also, TNT, SyFy, and other cable networks run shows both eastern and western time, and I dvr'd those late when I was on eastern time, and dvr them early now that I'm west coast. Of course, next week we'll be back in NC for two months....
I'm unplugging the cable box and dvr while we're gone. I have a notebook with my fall schedule and the dvr schedule worked out, including "dvr early" and "stream from network" or "Hulu" in case of slot multi-crunch. I figure by the time we get back to WA after Thanksgiving, the carnage of cancellation will have cleared enough I can program the dvr for the survivors at that time.
But I need the notebook to keep track while we're in NC.
...I could be too media dependent...

Hee! I have the same thing set up in iCal with different calendars for the various recording techs, iTunes, and On Demand. I have yet to depend on Hulu, I should remember it's there when I'm making these decisions...
I don't understand the impulse to hate on either of them just because the other one is your woobie of choice. That's craziness!
Well, I started backing towards the door when one person asked if Dean had ever told Sam and Bobby that he opened the first seal. 'Yes, of course' was the answer. When? 'Well, he must have done it off-screen because he said, "We made this mess, we'll clean it up." If he hadn't told them about the seal, he would have said "YOU made a mess." ' (Actually given that the writers often seem to let things slide that we should see onscreen, this is almost possible. But no, I don't think Dean's told them about the first seal yet.)
But I definitely backed through that door when another person announced that she'd love to feel sorry for Bobby due to his injury, but just couldn't bring herself to care because Bobby was MEAN to Dean in "Lucifer Rising." Bobby should apologize to Dean. He owes it to him.
And the lapses in logic and sanity started getting larger and larger, and I sprinted through that damned door and retreated to here.
Oooh, it's unsub from the thread time! New ep tonight.
That amulet originally came from Bobby, didn't it? (Who gave it to wee!Sam so he could gift it to John, right?)
Do we know that was really Cass?
