Yes, it did overplay its hand, just as YED did, but this time not enough to make Dean suspicious, I think in part because he wanted to say it too.
I'm not sure it's quite because he wanted to say it, but it's at least partly that he was so dead set on avoiding having that conversation at all. And while I don't think he was outright blaming Sam, he sure wasn't in any kind of frame to be defending him.
whoops! Sorry bout that. I thought it was common knowledge.
Kripke as quoted in EW: "This is the most optimistic season we've ever done. It's about building them back up [as brothers]."

Finally watched last night. I'm with Jilli on finding the meta fan stuff funny. Thought the boys brought it with the actoring. Didn't figure out Bobby until his eyes went black. Loved Castiel's return and bad-assitude. Whathisname with the molar in his hair was so funny. All in all, very happy with it. Show is on again!
Oh, and how about little old Delaware representin' with Lucifer's vessel?? Go, little state, go. Though, Pike Creek is really more a neighborhood/area than an actual town or whatever. But, I quibble. I also live there!
Whee, Delaware!
I think the meta stuff is funny, too. I do cringe a bit, initially, but mostly I find it amusing that Kripke thinks he show is interactive.
Finally got to see it at CWTV. Good episode!
For those who wouldn't mind tweaking P.Diddy this Thursday via another hash-tag campaign on Twitter, a fan from Scotland has this proposal based on Misha's tweet last week. No spoilers. [link]
Mo Ryan has 3 awesome sneak peeks.
And unfortunately, an episode description on the bottom of the page.
