Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I loved the stunt casting until I remembered that Aldis('s character) killed Sam that one time. Messes me up. Michael Ealy is perfection, though.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Ciliian Murphy. Murphy especially, distractingly, so.

There's just something about him that I find kind of creepy, though.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

He does creepy really well.

Because books.

No idea who this guy is, but I'd cast him as Dean in a heartbeat: [link]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think it would be interesting to see him play "out of this world" next to Misha. It's another thing it occurred to me that Rick Worthy plays well. Other kinds of multidimensional wavelengths of celestial intent--that have charisma and stick around.

I want to see a five things fic of the WInchesters.

Like,

  • John goes vengey, but leaves the kids with friends--Azazel gets Sam, Michael gets Dean
  • John goes vengey, but finds some Campbells and leaves the kids with them (they become assholes and are taken by Lucifer and Michael
  • John does not go vengey, tries to raise the kids in a normal environment. All their school friends are demons, and we get the same knowledge of people that die. Azazel gets Sam, Dean dies trying to save him, because he has no skills.
  • John does not go vengey, but hides the kids from the unknown as best he can with book knowledge. When Azazel comes for Sam, Dean is the one that burns on the ceiling
  • The series as we see it.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Oh, I like that, ita.

Thanks! I wish I trusted my ability to capture SPN voices at any length, because I'd be all over that like white on rice. Though, I suppose, with the format, there doesn't have to be much if any dialogue. But "voice" is more than just what's spoken.

::sigh::

It would also require fanwanking the combination of Azazel and Lucifer's plans, but still (I've never understood how they worked together). I'd have John be killed in the second scenario and as the Righteous man break after some very very long period. His torture would be psychological, involving Mary and Henry and how he did wrong by his kids (aka not raise them in the show way).

I'm not saying he made the best/safest choices, but you know my spiel--he ended up with heroic children who might not be whole, but are doing damned good jobs most of the time.

If I weren't so behind drawing for DCBB (I am ashamed of myself), I'd draw the visual for #4. It breaks my heart and feels right at the same time.

Completely unrelated, I just opened the anon thread again after the longest time, and in an early post about cracky ships had to crack a smile at

I ship Supernatural passing the Bechdel test. Naked.

I see Jo/Anna a fair amount, balanced by Jo/Vic. I like them both, even though the character of Anna is rarely related to what we saw onscreen. Jo/Vic is something I've been shipping, if platonically, for quite a long time: [link] But mostly I ship Meg/Ruby.

Oh, hey, look what someone did (with permission): [link] [nsfw imagery]. She only asked for one, but two is good, two is definitely good.
