Because books.

It would be great to see Sam saving Dean for a change, though.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sam saves the world. Not Dean.

Because books.

And I'm saying it would be interesting to change things up for a while.

I'm not disagreeing with you.

She's still doing it. I'm trying to work out the logistics:

Dean's knees were kept together, but parted an inch as Castiel's hands reached them...

I guess it's nice that I spend a more tactile moment with that sentence in the story, but I don't come away warm and pleased. A beta could just have put a "closer" in before together, if they didn't mind associating his knees with together at all...

Ah, well. I suppose I come at this from a more visual angle. If Gabriel is suddenly tall (she fixed that when I commented, despite having had intent at the the start), or Naomi's hair is red, it throws me way out of the related moments. And, jesus, don't call Dean's face symmetrical or Castiel's eyes beady. Some things are not true things. Some untrue things niggle at me.

Worth triple posting for? Well, it's quiet in here, so.

I don't know how to sell the Slumber Party Sam Winchester Toy except to say it's not porn. And that I'm in love with both the detail used in the concept (look at the jug! Contacts!) and I hope the Dean corollary does not exist. Unless it is porn...

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Oh, that is hilarious! I would play with that all the time. And not in a porny way. And when I wasn't playing with it, I would store jewelry and hair gee-gaws on it.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

At about the 3.21 mark, this video from the Burbank con gets really really cute.

Apparently Rob Benedict wasn't feeling well at the Toronto con, and Speight and Jared and Jensen took him to the hospital--a good thing, since he was having a stroke. He's recovering, expected to make a full recovery. He was at Burcon, but was unable to play with his band, Louden Swain. But he hopes to be back with the band soon.

I don't know if any of you are aware, or care, that Speight contacted the studio, asked for and got the red "plum smuggler" shorts Dean wore in Afterschool Special. He's been wearing them with the white polo and red headband at cons for a couple of years now. He and Matt Cohen host Friday Karaoke Night at the cons, Richard wears the gym teacher suit, Matt had a cheerleader skirt made to match and wears it with a matching white polo.

At this con they auctioned Matt's costume for charity, and Richard decided to retire the red shorts. They held an impromptu ceremony.
