You're talking to Serenity. And, Early... Serenity is very unhappy.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

My main takeaway from that teaser (FLAILS!!!!) was can boxers so fluffy that I mistook them for a towel actually fit beneath suit pants?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Guys wear boxers under a lot of stuff, and one thing Cas's suit doesn't do is fit. Do they show a t-shirt in that scene? We know the costume has one, so they may be going for impact rather than what is worn during scenes.

Because books.

Stuff like that is only a problem under jeans, or something tighter-fitting. Dress pants are usually cut roomy enough for ... those.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Especially Mr. Novak and his non-bespoke ways.

I find boxers incredibly uncomfortable under stuff, but that's part and parcel (fuck off) with how I can't put my whole life into my jeans pockets--the fit just doesn't allow for all that, not the jeans I want to wear. Men's styles are cut very different.

SADLY. Well, except for Dean's penis (I will not conjecture about Jensen's, but will note apparently some fan looked up the brand of Jared's showing undies and they were for men of large endowments. Fictionally, it would make you wonder about John. Or Samuel...)

Anyway, men's undies are not why I'm here. I have a question for people who know how older black women who don't have straightened hair wear it to the office in the 21st century.

And by older, I guess 50s? I'm back on Urielle. I feel okay with the face and stuff, but flummoxed on the hair. I know how my mother would go natural at work. But that's not the US.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

OMG, just saw a Jensen Ackles doppelganger in the grocery. He was in line in front of me, in jeans and a t-shirt (and flip-flops, but whatever.)

I did a discreet hard-stare triple-take. It was truly an remarkable resemblance.

ita !, in teaching, I've seen short afros, short to shoulder-length dreads, and the most awesome short, steel-grey twists on an older administrative higher up.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't think dreads are conservative enough for Uriel's host for some reason. I'm thinking of going with one of those afros that's short in the back and long on top (this just came across my dash: [link] I don't know if I have it in me to make twists look different from braids from dreads, really. And I want to be natural, but conservative.

Good lord, can it be next month already? Or even next week? My discs are to arrive Friday. Maybe that will stop me from hate-reading shit like this:

“How could you do this to our son, John? I feel as if I don’t know you.” Mary walked away from him. Sam held her. He glared daggers at his father. Jessica sat with Gabriel. The host was sickened by John’s hatred towards gay people.

Dean stood nose to nose with his father. “I hate you and I never want to see you again. You have ruined several peoples’ lives not only mine. I gave up the love of my life believing you were going to die. Guess what dad? From now on you’re dead to me. You can take the crown and shove it where the sun don’t shine because I don’t want it. I’m leaving Liechtenstein and never coming back.”

John grabbed his oldest son’s arm. “You ungrateful runt!” Dean turned and punched John’s right eye.

Everyone in the chapel including the priest left. John remained stunned lying on the aisle. He cursed Rebecca, the chauffeur and the American, who would always lay a claim to Dean’s heart.

I clearly can't control myself...

That looks good, ita ! I can't draw a straight line, so I can see how drawing dreads and twists would be hard.

re: fanfic sample -- I honestly can't get past the shitastic, stilted sentences to get to the characterization. It's...painful.

Wow, the last moment of that is worrisome.
