You never know if a girl's gonna say 'yes', or if she's gonna laugh in your face and pull out your still-beating heart and crush it into the ground with her heel.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

And I've bookmarked my search results. BEGONE, PAIRINGS AND AUTHORS I HATE!

I should be able to mail this to myself and bookmark it on my phone, too. I dislike the lack of the filter box in the results, but hey, small price to pay for being able to block an author I can't stand on my small screens.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I used Teen Wolf to check. For obvious reasons

Oh, you can use D/C to test that just fine.

EVEN THOUGH MY FAVOURITE DELETED.

I'm reading fucking tentacle porn and skimming MPREG instead of running from the tag.

I don't even know anymore.

I figured Teen Wolf would give me a clear yeah or nay faster than any of the other afflicted fandoms.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

WHY IS THERE OMEGAVERSE FIC IN THE PACIFIC RIM FANDOM? (Yeah, yeah, I know this is off-topic for this thread. But Plei's mention of it reminded me.)

(Tentacle porn in Pacific Rim? Sure, that makes sense. Not Omegaverse.)

It makes as much sense as it being anywhere (including SPN--since their canon werewolves have nothing to do with it--few of them are werewolf stories). It's now a conduit to MPREG, and what fandom doesn't like that?

I remember talking to scaramouche saying "so, gay knotting, what next???" and she was all "Exactly!" when the answer is now clearly MPREG, but hey.

It is, as was once said, the Kinderegg of Kink. (The fake ad was priceless)

You've got mpreg, self-lubing asses, and soul bonding most of the time. It's the unholy trinity.

So, you know, you'll find it in every fandom. Ooo! Someone should, if they haven't already, stage a Sentinel Revival fest JUST for A/B/O!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'm not sure if I actually want to know, but here goes: Since these stories all seem to feature the less macho of people's preferred pairings as a feminized and fertile omega, are women entirely absent? How does the alpha/beta/omega thing map across both sexes?

The same way, basically. Female alphas can impregnate too (not sure of the mechanisms, since I've read very few stories with F/F detail, but certainly one where Dean's grandmothers were together).

And the good stories don't always feminise the omegas--just like the bad standard fics feminise who they want, these stories aren't exempt.

What ita ! said, though I will say the mechanism does vary depending on author. I've read some f/m mpreg that was pretty damn good.

(I've also read some really, really bad f/f omegaverse, but that's the author I've blocked in my saved search.)

The story had been going reasonably well (the idea of Cas with a sugar mama who funds his wardrobe to woo Dean amuses, okay? And he's sexing the fuck out of her too), I could skim over the "John was clearly a bigot" parts of the story, and then...

Cas didn't come to the hotel that night, and, for the first time since they were children, Sam held [Dean's] hand as he fell asleep, crying softly and silently into his pillow.

I'm not sure where we are or who we're talking about right now...
