Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Because books.

Aw, Osric. He's the cutest.

I think my favorite soulless Sam was in the one with the fairies. The way he had to stop and ask questions to see if he was reacting right was funny and also weirdly sad at the same time.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Oh, the one-liners he hit Dean with throughout that one were priceless.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

AO3 question. Is there a way to filter search results? I love a good AU but when I'm in the mood for non-AU I find them damn near impossible to unearth from the AU haystack there.

You need to set up your search string so it excludes certain terms, and that should help.

I do wish I could get the new filters on the Pit over on AO3, but I'm not holding my breath. Honestly, I'd rather have the option of default blocking certain authors so I don't have to see their stupid annoying virtual faces which I strongly desire to punch.

Okay, the translation of "set up your search string" seems to be "use boolean in the Search Within Results field". Is that what you're saying? And how granular is the boolean? Will "NOT AU" catch AU--Barista & Bartender? And not catch Auks (I don't know--it's the first one that comes to mind)?

I went Search > Works, and put in -AU -Alternate+Universe with Fandom set to Supernatural, pairing set to Castiel/Dean Winchester, sort set to by update date did get an AU in there, but it wasn't tagged or specified as such, and there's no way to filter out stupid. Yet.

Not sure how granular it is, though. Time to check.

You can put -writerIhate, right? You could get false positives (negatives? I'm confused now), but it might be worth it.

OK, a search of Knotting -OM continues to bring up Omegaverse, Alpha/Beta/Omega Dynamics, and the rest of the crap associated.

I used Teen Wolf to check. For obvious reasons.

Yes, you can put in -writerIhate. I tested it on -writerIamindifferentaboutwhojustupdated.
