You can say she didn't, since you created that tumbler over a year ago.
I know--her post is 6 months old. But she's all squee and following the tumblr, which brings followers up to 16 (and I bet at least two of those are me), so I'm gonna be that person and not say shit.
Morgana, you just made that really sad!
Yeah, I was thinking more comedic, like Dean groaning at Cas about using condoms, and Kevin trying to figure out all of Charlie's old aliases, and Cas's pregnant girlfriend dragging Cas down the dungeon, and ... stuff.
But it also would be sad. It already is. The episode where Bobby died was on today, and it killed me how explicit they made his "adoption" of Sam and Dean, and their love for him.
Is there a meeting you can join that tells you it's okay to close the browser window? It's an accelerating train rushing towards a wall of crap writing, and...I keep clicking "Next Chapter ->" like there's nothing better to do with my time.
Or maybe there could be a meeting for her, which explains the potential downsides of switching points of view in the middle of a paragraph. Or saying things like:
Sam's tone was of the 'difficult' nature.
Someone needs a come to Chuck meeting.
Verb tenses. I was recently reading a Big Bang that kept switching tenses in the middle of paragraphs, and it was driving me absolutely crazy. Pick one -- present or past -- and stick with it, dammit.
This chick is pulling of the complicated manoeuvre of switching points of view willy nilly (not omniscient, because the story will suddenly be ignorant of what's going on in the head of the previous character, if only for a line or two) while maintaining an authorial judgemental voice that doesn't seem to belong to anyone, and is randomly being pissy about various things they do.
Honey, if they rile you up this much,
don't write the story.
Or at least keep it between you and your therapist.
ita !, stop reading it.
The sex was passably hot, though.
I swear, I'd only use high quality drugs if that was all that was supplied. But even though I can't get that ridiculous tummy flutter I've had hundreds of times (srsly) when they seal the deal for the first time, sometimes I can get a visual that lasts me until the next fix.
At least I'm not just reading straight down AO3 anymore. No absolute squick tags? Plough right in.
Shit, I found myself reading
MPREG.
Because it kinda segued off alpha/beta/omega, and I'd already used a gateway drug, and and...no human or angel MPREG, though.
Actually--I would be interested in Castiel reproducing essentially asexually. Like, being in love with Dean is what makes him bud off a new angel, but there's no pregnancy, the new angel isn't Dean's in any way other than a sentimental linkage (he's the catalyst, and he's providing the activation energy of In Love (Cas has to love him too, so much that he can't contain the result) and not a reactant).
That, if well written, I'd like to look at the world of, and the ramifications (the chemical catalytic process is really the best I can think of right now, but it's flawed).
See what fic has done to me?
ita !, when's your birthday? I think we writers should collaborate on a grammatically perfect and plot-hole free, content-germane-to0-canon based fic just for you.
It would be MPREG, of course...
ita, this might fit the bill for you Angel Baby
The Winchesters find out that angels do not reproduce the same way as humans. Castiel explains that his vessel is not pregnant, his grace is simply splitting to make a new angel. But, even the best laid plans sometimes go awry, especially when Heaven is involved. When the Apocalypse is nigh and Castiel is running out of grace, Dean takes it upon himself to take care of Castiel and the new angel and ends up learning how much the angel means to him. Sam on the other hand, must make amends with his own angel.
It's a WIP, but the first chapter was written reasonably well. I don't like waiting for chapters to come out, so I tend to wait until works are finished, but this is one that I'm watching because it seemed interesting.
Ooh! Have they stated the reason for him budding yet?
(I shouldn't laugh at the title, but haven't we all been there? Where just grabbing a bullet point of the thoughts in your head about the piece is the best we can do for a title? (And we can't find a halfway decent song lyric eaither))
