One of the Tumblrs is asking for scariest moment (not episode) of Supernatural, and I always blank at this. I know lots of great tense moments, but I don't know that I'm ever really *scared* watching it.

Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
Meg as Sam in "Born Under a Bad Sign" and that laugh from Castiel at the end of "Meet the New Boss" would both be contenders in my book.
John as YED menacing Dean was some messed up shit. That whole sequence scared me, because I suddenly realised I didn't know how real shit could get.
I was putting together a post of all the SPN drinking GIFs I have, and I realised--not many, proportionally, and I now have not only an urge for a motel decor rewatch (perpetual) but also a booze rewatch.
Maybe this weekend I could rip my DVDs to my new network storage. I wish I didn't suck at animated GIFfing. It's a real art.
(the last one is just because it amuses by implication)

Technically I shouldn't offer this, since I didn't get to rewatch the entire episode, but the other morning TNT was replaying "Time Is On My Side" (3.15); (that episode that guest stars the ever-creepy Billy Drago as Doc Benton who has been taking people's vital parts for years and years and years now.) I didn't catch this bit, but I seem to remember that there's a scene where Sam's tied down on a table with his head fastened still? I remember being creeped out by that.
ome to the same conclusion that we're not working through anything, we just imprinted on Flowers in the Attic.
Which, freakishly, is impossible to find a copy of at thrift stores nowadays! I refuse to buy a copy new, but I want a copy of the ultimate trashybad popcorn book.
eBay? Library?
I haven't looked on eBay yet, mostly because I probably don't want to pay shipping. But I may go check.
Jaysus, eBay has what someone is claiming to be a 1st edition hardcover version of Flowers in the Attic, and the seller wants $600 for it. Jilli, unless you're independently wealthy I'd definitely look for a paperback copy.
Edit: Amazon has sellers offering used copies for .01 cent and $3.99 shipping. Just saying. Way better than $600.
Good grief! That's ... well, there's a market for everything. I think I'll stick with looking for a copy at thrift stores.
