If he's in any way her friend, that's beyond the pale, and if she's just fantasizing about someone she only kind of knows distantly that's something she needs to shut up about. (I mean fantasy is all well and good, I spend a considerable amount of time lost in my own imagination, but I don't spread it out on the interwebs where the real-life objects of it could actually come across it, as you say Ty could.)

I just realised--my sister is ready to hear about Sabriel. She's got the two ship lenses I told her about--Wincest and D/C, and will pick out lines based on how they please or slap at each ship, but I can't wait to tell her that the #3 ship in the fandom has zero subtext (I swear, I shipped Dean/Loki for a second, but that didn't even make it out of the first episode) as far as I'm concerned.
