Anya: We should drop a piano on her. It always works for that creepy cartoon rabbit when he's running from that nice man with the speech impediment. Giles: Yes, or perhaps we could paint a convincing fake tunnel on the side of a mountain.

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

That's..... beyond distasteful. If he's in any way her friend, that's beyond the pale, and if she's just fantasizing about someone she only kind of knows distantly that's something she needs to shut up about. (I mean fantasy is all well and good, I spend a considerable amount of time lost in my own imagination, but I don't spread it out on the interwebs where the real-life objects of it could actually come across it, as you say Ty could.)

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Ew and ick. Makes my skin crawl. Fantasies about people are natural, but I can't imagine knowing a celebrity might read my shit and writing something like that.

Hell, I feel badly about married actors when they pop up in DREAMS; can't imagine squeeing to them about it. Or squeeing at all; I feel like they must have heard it a zillion times. I'm too Midwestern -- I'd be more likely to be "Er, lovely to meet you, favorite scene is (something non-naked.) Um. SO WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE BOOK?"

And actually, no matter the degree of wistful lustfulness I might experience, I have never wanted anyone's cock down my neck. Does she mean throat? Because all I can see is a dick slapping someone's neck, and it's so not sexy.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The tweet afterwards where they weren't allowed to laugh...do I have to write a perennial YA classic to be able to hang out during filming any time I want? I want to not be allowed to laugh too.

I just realised--my sister is ready to hear about Sabriel. She's got the two ship lenses I told her about--Wincest and D/C, and will pick out lines based on how they please or slap at each ship, but I can't wait to tell her that the #3 ship in the fandom has zero subtext (I swear, I shipped Dean/Loki for a second, but that didn't even make it out of the first episode) as far as I'm concerned. I wonder how she'll view it.

Because books.

I said to Stephen, "Okay, now S.E. Hinton is pissing me off." I mean, I respect the hell out of her work (at least her past work) but come ON.

Maybe they think it's good PR. "Look, a literary icon fangirls us!"

SPN makes everyone insane? I don't know. But she has dipped into way gushy and I guess I'm not all in love with "they're just like us" beyond a certain point.

I think I just talked my sister into Thursday's Child...speaking of being insane. I've pretty carefully only been mentioning fic in which I thought she'd have no interest, to tell he how the other half lives while she finds her own space.

Damn, that's no small investment. I don't even know where to find it these days--my Delicious is way aged.

Hmm.

Ah, Dreamwidth.

This [link] looks like a decent (expensive--but you don't want that to happen while you're wearing the wrong nightie) substitute for this [link] you think?

Because books.

It's a great substitute.

What's Thursday's Child?
