I tell you I have this theory. It goes where, you're the one who's not my sister. Cuz mom adopted you from a shoe box full of baby howler monkeys, and never told you cuz it could hurt your delicate baby feelings.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What's the general complaint?

I'm tempted to go back to some of the places where I used to read meta, but even the crazy destiel shippers are driving me bonkers and I'm just in tumblr for the pictures--I'm not sure if predominantly text would cause me to injure myself?

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

Jensen and Jared did interviews (some spoilers included; don't highlight the link if you're staying clear of spoilers) that mentioned the events of tonight's episode (Sam taking on the trials). And OMG, this means that just like always, everything's always All About Sam, and that Dean Doesn't Have a Storyline, and they're all going to take their marbles and go home. The bitching continues on LJ. Very unhappy people. I was tempted to stick my fingers in, but I don't think I have the energy to get involved.

Art Crawl!!!

Really???

I thought it was lovely. First - Dean made me tear up when he took the trials on and then- Sam talking to Dean: also lovely.

People are craxy. Let's pretend that they don't exist.

Yeah, that Dean guy never gets any attention, dialogue, character development, or plotlines.

I can see how they might...be insane.

Because books.

I loved last night's episode. All of it. This is why I never wander into the interwebs at large.

DEAN IS NESTING. My heart.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

It seems fair to me for Sam to take point on this season's endgame case, since Dean was the one who did so last season.

That was a pretty enjoyable episode start to finish. My only reservation was about Crowley not informing people about the details of the deal - seems like Hell would have to dot its is and cross its ts to make that kind of bargain stick.

Does anyone else think Dean's hoping in vain about successful use of the tablet meaning people won't be drawn to hell as a result of extant deals? I mean, I can see closing the gates as preventing demons from striking any new ones or influencing the world of the living, but I don't think the basic reason for Hell's existence is going to be changed.

I had been interpreting closing the gates to mean that nothing could come out. Usually I've been considering it fair when people go in, unless crossroad deals are more shady and more popular than previously understood.

They made enough of a point of it being Crowley and him not having given terms that I hope it isn't dropped. For all this is the simplifying season, there are a lot of balls in the air as the back half gets going.

And if the gates to heaven get closed, does that mean all the dead stay here? Even when salted and burnt?

When's the next hiatus? I need to brace myself.

So this is sneak peek, not the preview after the episode like I'd thought when I clicked on it. It's an encounter with the doberman in the car that turns into a woman in the preview.

And, dear lord, she fine. I need to work out her name.

I missed the preview last night, but I saw the sneak peek. LOVE.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm way curious.

I'm now reading so many DEAN TURNED A HOT WOMAN DOWN, GUYZZZ! posts that...you know what? If the CW had a bisexual lead character in season 8 of their longest running show, that would be as cool as fucking shit. But I feel people are grabbing onto all this evidence so excitedly when I think we don't have it. We do have enough room to put a lens on it and spin it bi!Dean, but that's incredibly not the same thing.

So while this post is adamant that Aaron and Ellie have a huge point that's coming up, she's ignoring the fact that just because a TV show is a joint effort over a large amount of time by a large amount of people, not everything does actually mean things as simply as if someone had written a book (and those are never misinterpreted, no, not ever--no one has mistaken decor for Chekov's gun or vice versa).

Listening to Tim talk about writing and directing (and Colin about acting and directing) has forever put me in the arena of "I hope they got their point across" but I have no more than little frissons of hope. Because sometimes, that's the only take that worked. Or they cut for time, or...or...or...or Jeremy thinks he's telling a different story from the one you think you're watching.

Yes, if Dean were bi it would be the BEST THING EVER, and that's not from a shipping point of view, just a visibility point of view. But I maintain that we can't possibly know these breadcrumbs (or M&Ms) that have been laid out in a trail until we've covered all the territory.
