Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I like that this ep hasn't been that predictable.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Who is this strange person and what has he done with Sam?

ETA: Christian Campbell next week!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Possibly because I'm in the middle of drawing, but the lighting on that last scene was GORGEOUS. They both looked so beautiful. And sad. Why do you say that's not Sam, Matt? He seems very post S5 epiphany, combined with the decision to not take the out with Amelia. I actually thought they were both a very good blend of original and evolved, in fact.

Hugging your TV isn't healthy, is it?

Still.

I'm kind of surprised Dean didn't have what amounted to his own room that he could add personal touches to at Bobby's place.

We've only ever seen him sleeping in the living room, right? At least recently--the ep where they discovered Bobby had a panic room I think we saw them running around upstairs, but I don't think they ever kipped there.

Ha! I just got a link from my sister to a Dean/Castiel gifset and the words "I am perilously close to giving a shit."

She refuses to touch subtext shipping with a ten foot pole. As far as she's concerned, if the show doesn't nut up M/Mwise, it's not worth her time. And she doesn't get the what-if thrills like I like.

But, I have been serenading her with snippets all season, and she is bumping into posts on tumblr, and...it's too much fun.

eta: OMG so close:

I went to the clip of the guy hitting on Dean in 8x13 and Jensen A was fucking hilarious. I could watch that over and over again for the giggles.

I never even got her to watch Buffy...

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

Aaaaaand I'm back from tip-toeing through the comments section over at Zap2it. I felt the need for some emergency sanity rations. Seriously, I don't think those people are watching the same show. I have my own problems with Show, but those people are rabid.

What's the general complaint?

I'm tempted to go back to some of the places where I used to read meta, but even the crazy destiel shippers are driving me bonkers and I'm just in tumblr for the pictures--I'm not sure if predominantly text would cause me to injure myself?

Jensen and Jared did interviews (some spoilers included; don't highlight the link if you're staying clear of spoilers) that mentioned the events of tonight's episode (Sam taking on the trials). And OMG, this means that just like always, everything's always All About Sam, and that Dean Doesn't Have a Storyline, and they're all going to take their marbles and go home. The bitching continues on LJ. Very unhappy people. I was tempted to stick my fingers in, but I don't think I have the energy to get involved.

Art Crawl!!!

Really???

I thought it was lovely. First - Dean made me tear up when he took the trials on and then- Sam talking to Dean: also lovely.

People are craxy. Let's pretend that they don't exist.

Yeah, that Dean guy never gets any attention, dialogue, character development, or plotlines.

I can see how they might...be insane.

Because books.

I loved last night's episode. All of it. This is why I never wander into the interwebs at large.

DEAN IS NESTING. My heart.
