The very end was so excellent. Also, I can see many outtakes from that ending up on the gag reel.
And, yeah, if you ship Denny, you totally got a shoutout.
Dean's no to the question of a breakup was a little less than adamant. There was something else mixed in.
Weirdly, I do ship Denny, although I hate calling it that. I still love Dean/Cas, but Dean/Benny has a real appeal for me. They have a sort of equality as brothers in arms that Dean/Cas (although the weird power dynamic they have going on is gorgeous) can't have.
This episode is so quotable, it could go down in history.
I have not seen this many animated GIFsets go up this quickly since I started tumblring. I'm glad that I download and don't wait until nine. More alert, no ads, more time to peruse fanwork--including fanart.
I noticed some people were taking Destiel away from the Denny line (I AM THE BACKLASH QUEEN RE: PORTMANTEAUS--THE MORE YOU HATE, THE MORE I LOVE), and it goes to show--you bring your own lenses to the show--they thought Cas blinking out was more significant than Dean calling someone and saying "We can't be a we anymore."

And crazy--also crazy. Then again, I saw a fanart of Sam painting Dean's face red tagged Wincest, so you know. Lenses.
I don't ship Dean and Benny--I like Benny more and more as the episodes pass, but he was also becoming more and more alone and tragic. And I only have one alternative Purgatory narrative, which could accommodate FWB, but not much more than that. I haven't read any Dean/Benny that I found interesting, and only one Dean/Benny/Castiel that got me.
Quotable--Charlie is your girl. I mean, seriously--Notting Hill, right? Am I sourcing that right? I'm sure I missed a bunch of stuff.
