Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?

Because books.

Okay, I'm done. I'm pretty sure all these (well, a lot of them) could change with the day or my mood or the angle of the sun.

S1: Best, Hell House; Favorite, Pilot
S2: Best, What Is and What Should Never Be; Favorite, Tall Tales
S3: Best, Mystery Spot; Favorite, A Very Supernatural Christmas
S4: Best, It's a Terrible Life; Favorite, Monster Movie
S5: Best, Changing Channels; Favorite, The End
S6: Best, The French Mistake; Favorite, Frontierland
S7: Best, Death's Door; Favorite, Time After Time

That was hard.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Okay, DON'T GO ANYWHERE. I'm about to head home, and I'll spend the drive trying to see how well I can compartmentalise the seasons (I need to rewatch more...I couldn't remember if Free To Be You And Me was before The End or not! How sloppy...and do Cas and Dean get Raphael in holy fire other than that episode?)

I did mine without rewatching! I looked at episode lists! I didn't know this was a long-term project!

Okay, I'm not looking at Amy's answers...

Best:

  • FUCK I HATE THISFaith
  • What Is and What Should Never Be (this is an amazing season, though)
  • Jus In Bello
  • The Monster At The End Of The Book
  • The End
  • The Man Who Would Be King
  • The Born-Again Identity

Favourite:

  • Shadow
  • What Is and What Should Never Be (there's not really any question here--I may think this is the best of the series, even if it's not all the way my favourite)
  • A Very Supernatural Christmas
  • It's A Terrible Life
  • Changing Channels
  • The French Mistake
  • Plucky Pennywhistle's Magical Menagerie

I'm surprised by how hard a time I had picking season six. I mean, I know I liked it, but I had more favourites than I'd have guesses. I'm a Gamble!Girl for sure.

And now that I've looked at Amy's list--how little congruence! And we flip five!

Okay, while using SPN wiki for episode lists, I got sidetracked by this page: [link] which is a PERFECT art resource, and a testament to how nuts fandom is. ♥That led to this [link] which clearly leads to this [link] and all those details were new to me. Bless. Okay, back to the list.

No, I didn't rewatch--I mean I need to in general, if I'm forgetting the order of important episodes like that. Rookie mistake...

That's so weird, the ones we flipped. I have to digest yours more carefully, though.

I almost picked Plucky Pennywhistle's, but I can't resist Dean in chaps.

The problem with Dean in chaps is that Dean is also in pants.

Because books.

You do make a valid point.

I like to think my points are good that way.

I know this fic's tell was that it was tagged F/F but had no mention of genderswap. I am assuming, however, that we're either dealing with an experiment (sociological--all the best ones are, on the internet) or a gay 12 year old who's worried about coming out at school. In which case, poor dear, but also, seriously?

The point at which it all becomes clear:

He knocked on the door, a tall, bulky man answer the door.
“Hello”
“Um… Does Castiel live here?”
“Yes, hi sorry, my name is Gabriel, I’m Castiels brother, nice to meet you, oh sorry, come in.”

So we know they haven't seen the show or apostrophes.

Castiel solely kissed him on the neck, he kissed up into his cheek bone, and he placed his lips around deans lips, castiel pashed him slowly and firmly.

It's possible pashing is the new craze among the hip youngsters, but also the author has either neither kissed nor been kissed WELL.

Dean called feel a boner
“Oh god”
“You okay dean”
“I can feel your boner and now… I have one”

I don't know.

Every afternoon and every weekend, they would spend together, doing cute dates and doing it.
Dean loved castiel and castiel loved dean.

A month later, dean came out and told everyone at school he was gay and he is dating castiel. Surprising everyone was accepting and was cool about it.

Dean loved his life. He has an amazing boyfriend. He was doing well in school and he came out and people where cool about it.

And that's actually adorable.

You don't need the bits in the middle.
