Because books.

You do make a valid point.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I like to think my points are good that way.

I know this fic's tell was that it was tagged F/F but had no mention of genderswap. I am assuming, however, that we're either dealing with an experiment (sociological--all the best ones are, on the internet) or a gay 12 year old who's worried about coming out at school. In which case, poor dear, but also, seriously?

The point at which it all becomes clear:

He knocked on the door, a tall, bulky man answer the door.
“Hello”
“Um… Does Castiel live here?”
“Yes, hi sorry, my name is Gabriel, I’m Castiels brother, nice to meet you, oh sorry, come in.”

So we know they haven't seen the show or apostrophes.

Castiel solely kissed him on the neck, he kissed up into his cheek bone, and he placed his lips around deans lips, castiel pashed him slowly and firmly.

It's possible pashing is the new craze among the hip youngsters, but also the author has either neither kissed nor been kissed WELL.

Dean called feel a boner
“Oh god”
“You okay dean”
“I can feel your boner and now… I have one”

I don't know.

Every afternoon and every weekend, they would spend together, doing cute dates and doing it.
Dean loved castiel and castiel loved dean.

A month later, dean came out and told everyone at school he was gay and he is dating castiel. Surprising everyone was accepting and was cool about it.

Dean loved his life. He has an amazing boyfriend. He was doing well in school and he came out and people where cool about it.

And that's actually adorable.

You don't need the bits in the middle.

Because books.

Yes, it's very sweet when 13-year-olds write fic. I don't even know how you got past the first sentence. I'm so incredibly snotty now that if the LJ background has kittens and they mention something about it being their first fic ever, I won't even look. I can't read fic I want to correct with a red pencil anymore.

Yeah, I said pencil. I miss them.

Everybody's happy. Amy, god, why do you have to be so MEAN????

I posted on IO9 that I thought they'd made the right decision to stop Fan Fiction Friday, and some really pissed off poster who came from the site the new IO9 writer had came from wrote me a big flouncy reply. Uh, if you're leaving because the site won't formalise bashing fics, and I said I didn't think that bashing was in keeping with their intended rep...I'm happy you're leaving. They called me easily offended and a whiner, but when I pointed out that they were whining and being offended, not me, at least they didn't come back. Though I do believe they got banned before they could flounce properly, since they were running up and down the post hurling invective at sympathisers.

But you know me. Can never not get into it.

Anyway, off to find a fic with capital letters.

Because books.

I'm the meanest. It's my idiom.

That fanfic thing was really ill-considered. I'm glad they pulled it.

Jen, I think you meant to put that in Bitches?

Oh, I did. Thanks.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

And that's actually adorable.

It really was. I hope they feel better and more hopeful for writing it. Though I am glad I didn't have to read the whole thing because I wouldn't have made it through.

That fanfic thing was really ill-considered. I'm glad they pulled it.

Very.
