I hate when I see people using various manips as proof of their little RPS fantasies made real. But without originals, sometimes it's impossible to make an impact on people who really need to believe.
This [link] is an interesting angle on a Hunger Games fusion. It's pretty solidly D/C (porn in the first chapter), and I'm curious to see exactly how it gets where I figure it must go.
Made my mom watch The French Mistake and Frontierland, both of which she enjoyed immensely. Then we watched more season 1 eps, where she cooed over what babies they were, while I noticed how much darker and monochromatic the show was originally, and how much the special effects were overwrought and silly and how their green screen sucked, and how soft their voices were. Oh baby Show!
Man, this picture of wee (6'2, maybe?) Jared is before he mastered the thrown together style: [link]
I'd never seen these before: [link] I am so glad his hair falls instead of pouffing now. I like his locks.
Alpha vamp is on NCIS right now. Good LORD, that voice. I'm trying to imagine him as Crowley--he's have been less funny, probably, but sexier (IMO) and more threatening ((just by virtue of...voice...)
Oh, my word, the hair in that first one is priceless. And, yes to the hodgepodge fail, as the the kids today say. Fail, that is. They probably don't say hodgepodge much.
The ruffly yellow dress in the second one makes me happy. It's cheerful and flowy, and I like it. It wouldn't bring out the best of outside me if I were wearing it, but inside me would be exceptionally sunny, I bet.
In general, grown men should cover their toes on the red carpet. RuPaul and Eddie Izzard are notable exceptions, but woman's wear isn't the only case.
(Okay, there does come a point, though, where people can mention Supernatural without asking for a response from me--I haven't read one IO9 review this season--between their unfriendly software and me having opinions I know most of the people who stop by won't share (and I don't want to explain it to them either) but, seriously ASSCAPPING me because you're livetweeting? I don't need to know every time you fart and think of the show at the same time. Good lord.)

Okay, I know this is an experiment in outsider POV or somesuch, but we're a third of the way through and these college kids are not holding my attention enough to justify the wee bit of Sam and Dean that we're getting.
if anyone knows the name of the song that was playing on the iPod, please post it. Soundhound couldn't identify it.
If I'd not known, I'd have said this was the one Jensen directed, to justify the lack of them. Would this have been filming around Thomas' birth? I'm not remembering either when he was born or when filming started.
I actually did like it. I'm possessive and jealous of my boy time, but they've kept to the alternating pattern and not had Sam talk about how he's leaving and Dean talking over him meant I could push that out of my head--and the "they talked about how they'd been apart for a year"--oh, I'd rather hear it than hear about it, but at least it sounded
good.
Of course, the bit where Sam does finally tell
us
will seem weird, because he's had no reason not to tell Dean this whole time. At least Dean is hiding something. I mean...Sam was just interrupted, right? Dean's pretty persistent, but please don't let them have had him be such a dick he's been interrupting him for weeks.
As for this ep, they'd definitely seen...the movie whose name I'm completely forgetting that was really good with the found footage...I'll go look it up in a second..anyway-that movie was pretty diligent about explaining where the/a camera was all the time. This ep violated the camera rules a whole bunch. But...TV. So.
