Made my mom watch The French Mistake and Frontierland, both of which she enjoyed immensely. Then we watched more season 1 eps, where she cooed over what babies they were, while I noticed how much darker and monochromatic the show was originally, and how much the special effects were overwrought and silly and how their green screen sucked, and how soft their voices were.
