How did your brain even learn human speech? I'm just so curious.

Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

Because books.

I was interested in a Sam/Jody story, but in the first few paragraphs we've got "windscreen" and Dean "boxing Sam about the ears". Not in the U.S., people. Why is it so hard?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I would never catch windscreen, to the point that I'm blanking on what's the American word to say (I will only mime smacking my forehead when you tell me--no 36 hours headache-free this week).

I swear, a month or so ago, I had 1 SPN shirt, and it was the KAZ 2Y5 one I'd made myself. I was just doing laundry/fake packing for going home next week, and now I have 3 Impala shirts, 1 Colt, 1 devil's trap, and 1 with the boys? Something like, anyway. I can almost make it through the entire trip.

I swear I thought I was being really good about shopping, but...one was a gift? That makes it okay, right?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Windshield.

Box about the ears, I'd not have caught. But, eh. Raised by ancient Canadians.

So, wait, I'm supposed to say "windshield wiper"? I wonder if I do. I'll never know. That experiment is compromised now.

Box about the ears I'd catch, because it's not a vocab thing, it's a thing thing. I don't associate the act with anyone at all, just with Blyton or Nestbitt books or their ilk. It's not anything I associate with the late 20th century or beyond. And I don't read much in the way of older American books (and in the ones I do read, people are getting whipped and lynched, not boxed about their ears).

Supernatural on its new night CW "thing"--all new footage, can't tell much, except apparently Jensen, Jared, and some other actor(s) are in the new season.

This looks like a cap from something that CW released today, I guess. Spoilery about what Cas would have been feeling over the hiatus.

Here is the video that came from: [link] Which apparently doesn't work on my computer, dammit.

Nah, it's broken the same way. It's weird--the first few seconds were fine, and then it went bonkers, and now I can't even see the first few seconds any more.

Someone must want me to work, but that won't work.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Squeee!

Dean looks very nummy covered in dirt and blood.
