Fred: So you don't worry that it's possible for someone to send out a biological or electronic trigger that effectively overrides your own sense of ideals and values and replaces them with an alternative coercive agenda that reduces you to a mindless meat puppet? Shopkeeper: Wow. People used to think that I was paranoid.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's safe to say that I don't love Sam or Dean any less than I ever have. I don't "worry" less about them, or laugh less at them. The danger signal for me is when I drift away from the protagonists. Yes, the show can always be better, but then again, I liked a more corporate villain (not in the league of the Mayor, but I think cut from similar cloth) for the boys. It was a nice break from angels and demons, which I was kinda burnt out on.

This person should be booted out of fandom for not calling this: [link] Cas-tea-el.

JUST SAYING.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Castiel tasted of lemongrass and honeybush vanilla. Dean paused, pulling back from Castiel's pouting mouth. He asked, "Cas, have you been ordering tea online again?"

I just realised more tickled me about this than the punchline.

Jared? Really? That is your favourite? You're adorable.

And Misha, I'm assuming that's a West thing, which is +500 cute points to house Collins right away.

Because books.

I bet it's his favorite NOW. Although my niece's favorite animal has always been the moose, so who knows.

I don't get the West Wing ref, but I do love the looks on their faces when the kid says "vampire bat". Heh.

Not West Wing, West thing. West Anaximander.

Amy, I read it as West Wing the first time too.

Jared is adorable.

D'oh.

Jared's face is so adorable there. What I love is that he has no clue his equally adorable baby is going to say things just as surprising one day.

Okay, this: [link] is an interesting premise for an AU. They've taken out hunting and put music in its place. Somehow songs and albums represent some of the arcs and monsters in a weird way. Dean sleeps with everyone, but it's D/C endgame.

It's also written in an essay style.

WIP alert, though.
