Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

What do you call it when body parts gain agency? I grabbed some text from a crap fic when I was helping my sister design note cards, and Dean's nose was doing some happy nuzzling. And my sister was very disturbed and made me stop using that as my lorem ipsum.

Normally, tentacle porn, but that's apparently intentional gaining of agency isn't what you mean.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

he's still a slim bugger

Man, I saw a picture of him in this last Colin trip to Haiti--I know arms crossed can really help you look buff, but I swear those aren't Castiel's muscles. All Misha.

Aha. Here: [link]

Dude, if that's what's there, please put him back in the hospital V-neck, and have him just carry the trench coat around.

If that's what's there, can't something in Purgatory eat his clothes?

I'm sure there must be a clothes-eating monster is some culture's lore, right? Like, the Alpha Clothes Moth Spirit?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Purgatory looked to be one huge rocky thorn bramble filled with bitey chase-y things running around in the dark. I might buy Castiel restoring whatever he's wearing by an act of will, but I call foul if Dean returns from any duration of stay there with his wardrobe intact.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

One can only hope.

Purgatory looked to be one huge rocky thorn bramble filled with bitey chase-y things running around in the dark.

Plus I would imagine it would be hot. Hot enough that any kind of layers would be unpleasant in the extreme.

Final BB art has been sent to the author because otherwise I will keep second-guessing myself and tweak it into a hot mess.

I imagine you are wondering why I've called you all here today.

Today is the first business day of a new month, which means it's time for me to flip the pages of my Supernatural calendar¹

In case you don't remember, June is a picture from Like A Virgin, where they're wandering through the dragon's lair and focussing their flashlights on the hoard of gold. Aha! Found it precisely: [link]

So...July. What do you have in store for me?

Oh! There's a midyear spread with Dean standing and Sam crouching to his left. How is that supposed to work? I can't leave the calendar displaying that! There's no month there.

Right--where were we? Huh. I do not know. Dean looks like he's holding something with bullets in it. Strapped down like a bandolier. Bullets make me think Frontierland, if they're restricted to S6. Or Mommy Dearest. Sam looks a bit put out, and his hair is fluffy. ::searches Sambase for fluffy hair. Hmm. Query returns too many results. Please refine your search. Usually it's either bitchface or plaid that break it.

Excuse me while I go take a picture of July and do a reverse image search...

eta: Damn, Google. It worked out it was a picture of Sam and Dean, but didn't find that picture of them. Impressive for a failure.

¹: I do not cheat in this. I have not looked ahead. If I need to know something about the dates in October I'm not allowed to look at it there.

You are a stronger woman than I would be. Of course, I can't buy potato chips to keep in the house, because every bag is a single-serving bag.

Any way for you to link your July picture here?

Thanks! Trying to place that picture is a visual equivalent of the tip-of-the-tongue phenomenon.

It also has me thinking that there needs to be a season-by-season infographic showing key changes in the boys' hair and wardrobe.
