Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
Oh Jesus. Sam will not cope well.
And why would Dean be sent to Purgatory? (I know Crowley said something about the bone but I didn't catch it... but it had to be the bone, because in the Supernatural universe monsters go to Purgatory and Dean didn't do anything to get him sent there.)
Crowley must have laced his blood with some spell??? And either there was a blast radius, or he specifically targeted Cas and Dean, and left Sam out as a deliberate torture?
I think it was just a side effect of using the bone. Or of killing a Leviathan, (which amounts to the same thing, I think? I'm not completely clear on that point) - you send him to Purgatory, you go, too.
Oh wow, I really enjoyed that more than I thought I would.
Crowley double-crossing everyone in sight? Check.
Bobby finally laid to rest in poignant fashion? Check.
Castiel back (and with him the homoerotic subtext), having lots of interaction with Dean? Check.
The subordinate Leviathans not dropping like puppets with their strings cut the instant Dick is overcome, but instead remaining disorganized threats that must be dealt with? Check.
Dean and Cas in Purgatory? K-i-s-s-i-n... well, give it time, it's not as if Dean will have anyone else to flirt with at the start of next season.
This hiatus is going to be really really long.
BABIES!
Okay, job #1 for Sam is to take the car out of the sign (can you believe he let MEGAN MASTERS drive it), and the second job is taking over Sucrocorp or whatever handy thinks Dick has left behind.
I wonder what the value of Kevin is.
Also, how big is a garrison? I was thinking they were tens to hundreds of angels, but there were only three or so with Kevin.
That was pretty fucking sweet. I liked it.
OK, what is there left in Purgatory that presents a real threat to Cas? All the leviathans are on earth except for whatever's left of the one that took on Dick Roman's form, and Cas is powerful enough that even alpha monsters have proven easy for him to handle in the past. Not to mention the fact that he was able to eat all 30-40 million monster souls and make use of their combined power at one point. I can see how keeping Dean alive and unharmed might be a challenge if he's still all unfocused, but my reaction to that "we're much more likely to be ripped to shreds" was "what you mean 'we,' kemosabe?"
Does Cas blipping out mean that he has the ability to move in and out of Purgatory?
And yeah, I can't believe that they let Megan drive(CRASH)Metallicar.
Oh, next season should be good - also damn the early OCTOBER start to the season.
Well, if he's still a pacifist and can't travel to and from purgatory (was that because they didn't know where it was, but is it still unreachable) he might still be in jeopardy.
I wouldn't think that being able to consume the souls is the same as facing them corporeally, and it's not like it went well anyway.
