ita - that's a confusing question. In season 1, SPN aired with Gilmore Girls on Tuesdays and then was moved to Thursdays and paired with Smallville until TVD premiered when they moved Smallville to Friday and paired SPN with TVD. So, SPN was paired with Smallville before and after TVD.

It was Smallville before TVD, too. Like, three years of Smallville->SPN on Thursdays, then Smallville moved to Fridays and TVD came in before SPN, then SPN followed Smallville to Friday, and then Nikita.

I barely watched Gilmore Girls, and only enough to know that Dean was a cheating son of a bitch, but I had the hardest time for the first half of season one getting their names right. I cannot *imagine* that headspace now.
