Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Because books.

Oh, I like this t-shirt a lot.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It is a great shirt. I do want more of a size differential between the brothers, but okay, that's my issue.

He says there's as much drinking as CW Standards & Practices will allow, so I'm psyched. Only tomorrow?

Because books.

It never occurred to me that Standards and Practices would regulate that. Interesting.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'm guessing ABC Standards & Practices doesn't, judging from Brothers & Sisters and Cougar Town.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Just about to post that shirt. Dan emailed the link to me this morning.

I know the guy who left the printout of Ruby's knife on my desk doesn't even watch Supernatural, so I'm extra tickled that he bothered.

I was all "Knife? A knife? THE knife? Whuhuh?"

The funniest part is that he didn't know me from Adam until I overheard him drawing a parallel to S3 of Eureka, and I couldn't keep my mouth shut.

You will be unsurprised to hear that I managed to mention Supernatural to both groups of students at Career Day today. Sam girls, these young ones! But there are definitely fans, one of whom watches with her mom. I was pleased.

Also, five hours to SHOW! On the right East Coast, anyway.

I hope everyone has a six-pack ready, or at the very least a bottle of Ripple.

Where the fuck is everyone else, Amy? Why is there no posting?

I didn't want to drink during last week's episode, lest I become a bleary mess, but it seems de rigeur this week. To support the boys, you know.

I incorporated the title of this week's ep (Party On, Garth) into a non-Supernatural-related post on IO9, and someone totally called me on it. Good eye, is all I have to say. Or maybe I am that predictable. Because that's totally what I was quoting.
