Muffin: randomly watching oldish eps, decided to rewatch the premiere of season 6. And there's his (Sirs) old leather jacket. And now there's Cas's jacket stashed away somewhere. I'm thinking Sam needs an iconic coat for Dean to tuck away and quietly cherish.

Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
Sam needed to hug Dean. That's the best gesture for glitter transmission. Dean needed to laugh, and Sam needed to fight some clowns. It worked out.
Sam's Bad Cop was marvellous. And when that woman was sitting there saying "what has she done wrong, I couldn't hold myself back: EARRINGS! The sign said no earrings, and she had two. The sign said no sideburns, and that's what Fed!SAm was flaunting all over.
Last Dean did Bad Cop, he was Ness's Bad Cop.
Sam's Bad Cop was simultaneously scary as all get out, and freaking ridiculously funny.
I was hoping for at least one more cracky death, but I'll take the tentacle porn and the unicorn shooting rainbows out it's butt and RIGHT FRIGGIN NOW!.
Also, SAM SPARKLES!
And Dean, you're so mean and cruel. The whole ep, you're a bad bad man, you know Sam's phobia. Lucky for you that Sam's able to be mature and big about the whole thing.
I was worried when Dean went all lustfull over the slinky that this would be the bad comedy where he got distracted from his actual job with a random personal vendetta. BUT! he managed to stay on track despite his slinky obsession.
I am ready to snap. Misha, you are cute, and urging your minions to vote for your gay relationship with Dean is funny. But now I am being spammed by those in the community to vote for D/C. Pretty please, harness their power of annoyance for charity next time.
Sam's bad cop was reminiscent of him trying to find room for his arms while there was a key, therefore there must be a lock. But much better! I love, however, that Dean's bad cop is nothing but a bit cliche, but still quite convincing, given TV.
How do Minions have your contact info to spam you in the first place, Julie? And are they doing it because he asked them to, or because they're insane Destielites?
eta: I do think we've lost this one, but it's been fun to watch so far. Glee fandom is formidable.
I keep getting "Please vote!" messages on LJ.
I've got none. Sadface!
I mean, except where I'm perfectly happy. I see tumblr pointing that way, and exhortative posts in deancastiel, but nothing else.
I was talking to someone on IO9 who said that LJ fandom wasn't paying any attention to the poll, and I had to laugh. No, not in your fandom. But that's why almost every fandom article irritates me--either it never overlaps with my (not inconsiderable) fandom, or it seems to only represent the fandoms I know. Neither are representative.
Farting rainbows! Exploding glitter!
Sorry--I'm having delayed feels.
The Tumblr posts about voting are getting a bit irritating. As much as I love Dean/Cas, I think it's going to be weird if an actual canon couple doesn't win.
There were a lot of cute moments last night, but as much as I usually like stand-alone MotW episodes, it felt a little thin to me. It's probably not one I'd rewatch as often as Monster Movie or Tall Tales.
I think it's going to be weird if an actual canon couple doesn't win
A canon couple won't win, that's pretty sure. The only one is the tweet-in, and it's way behind.
I'm avoiding my most fannish tumblr account, so it's within tolerance. Only two people on my true namesake feed post about it, and cafedelabiell usually accompanies it with art.
I just read this which gave me all the sads. Nominally D/C (no consummation, or anything)--monologues by our major characters on the state of their emotions. Mostly pre-series.
I do think that pre-series tends to make some overly inclusive mistakes about canon. I think it's pretty clear that the boys didn't memorise exorcisms until after the series started, and it seemed that they may never even have practised them, based on their surprise about Meg. So many authors have at least Sam expert in Latin, and familiar with the rituals.
Also any pre-series hunts for vampires with the boys bother me.
