Okay, tonight. Show. Excellent.
What's your wishlist for the rest of the season? Off the top of my head I want:
- More returning actors. They don't have to be characters resurrected from the dead, but I'd love to see some sort of interaction with the boys' past. (Also, moar Cas).
- More mundanity. I just want to get a better view on what their day to day life is like.
- Don't break the alcoholism. Please. Let him be a bit broken. No magical PTSD cure.
Those are the things I don't take for granted, that I want to see.
I want that graphic on a poster.
Wish list:
- Sam's crazy. Don't let it just disappear. Deal with it where we can see how he's dealing with it, even now.
- Dean admitting how much he misses Cas, and Bobby. (Not to mention how much he's lost in general.)
- Some resolution with Cas. Just a little. Somehow.
- More Sheriff Mills. Kim Rhodes needs to work, and I love our girl Jodi.
I wouldn't mind a little some of this either. That's a pretty damned good manip, as far as I can tell.
Oh, wow. Sam as a pilot. Mmm. Although I'd kind of rather see him as a fighter pilot.
Matching Dean. Again, I'm a little creeped out that I recognise the picture they took Jensen's head from (better than Jared's), but at least it would take me five minutes to pull it out of my collection.
I love that Google's reverse image search got me straight to the body Jared's manip was taken from, and it's totally disappointing in comparison.
Although I'd kind of rather see him as a fighter pilot.
Let's not choose! Let's have both!
Okay, another question: What cover would you most like to see either or both of the boys adopt?
Right now, I want to see either of them officially have to pass themselves off as a member of the armed forces, either in dress uniform or combat wear (camo face paint an option).
Is temp nudist colony volleyball instructor on the table?
I'd love to take it off the table, since I'm pretty traumatised by most Olympic sports when played naked.
Military would be awesome. Wow, it's hard to think of other things they haven't already done. I'm not as interested in uniformed cops, and they were firefighters once.
Chef? That would be pretty funny.
So, the tumblr response to this producer's review (Singer, not Gamble) is negative, but I guess I already knew the final reveal (happens right after the sneak peek linked to above) of the premise, so I'm not mad at it.
I feel weirdly like I should, but I don't. Maybe it's because I'm so strenuously psyched for them to flesh out that middle bit.
Wait, what's not to like? I mean, we knew from the teaser last week that
she was going to get pregnant,
right?
