I was even supporting drunken Bobby-grieving Sam/Mills.
You were so not alone in that. I love her, and I hope they use her again. And do not kill her.
I enjoyed every damn thing about the forties, and really most of the rest, too.

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

I just realized that Sheriff Mills was the mom on The Suite Life with Zack and Cody. A Disney Channel vet! Horrible show, though.
What I love is how naturally they've shown her falling into the life, even if it's only sort of sideways, or partway. But when you start your relationship with the supernatural by having your kid return from the dead and then eat your husband, I guess it's a little easier to believe than it would be for most people.
I'm still wide-eyed over, "So are you going to watch more cartoon smut or are you strictly into Dick now?" And Sam's smirk!
I remember Sheriff Mills from a soap, but I can't remember which one, though I do remember that she was or turned evil on the soap. I could, of course, imdb her.
And Sam's smirk!
And Dean's, "I am not even going to acknowledge you right now," look.
Also love, "It's called anime, and it's an art form." DEAN.
Also also Dean knowing the trick from Frank and being SO PROUD of himself. And Sammy being jealous and a little perturbed that Dean knows tricks he doesn't.
I actually loved this episode to pieces, start to finish.
Beau LOVED this ep. He said that this should totally be a Supernatural spinoff with Ness set in the 1940s.
I can see it and now I want more.
MOAR.
This was an excellent episode, marred only by the extreme unlikeliness of what's-her-face remembering the exact time and by the promos for the next episode, which seems to have my absolutely least favorite plot point.
Also, I still love the sheriff.
Since the clocks stopped, I'm good with it. That would be easier to remember, especially if you were looking at the clock, than just when a fight happened.
I was totally surprised, and thrilled, that Ness was a hunter, too. I didn't have any idea they'd go there.
Cherry pie:
I will say, though, that I feel we should start a countdown clock to the time when Jared's sideburns actually reach his mouth. Something ominous is going to happen then, clearly.
I like that Ness was a hunter for the rightness of it. I was getting a bit tired of "Here's my loss" Hunter show and tell. I know it's hard, and there's a big risk of death, danger, and privation, but some people do do that shit without being damaged into it, or inducted by psycho fathers.
More like the Campbells being in the business because they're in the business. Dean needs more of that. He needs positive role models. Hunting needs positive role models.
I will stand in staunch defense of Sam's flowing sideburns.
