I don't know. I just don't see Beck slipping stuff into drinks or tying Sam to a bed (without permission).

Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
"Will you stop touching me?"
"No."
Yeah, I can see her snapping with added pressure of a breakup and a reunion. TV narratively, they always make people do crazy things. Especially since she believed it was bringing out love he already had for her. Much easier lie to tell yourself.
Man, random sampling---don't go out there if you have a squee you're partial to. I'm feeling a lot of hate. Misogyny, racism, rape and consent issues...the whole deal. Not funny. Worst than the racist truck. Just appalling.
Whatevs! I enjoyed myself. Taking the boys apart puts them back together better again, oh yeah.
Whatever happened to discourse?
I am annoyed because I usually watch Sat. morning but iTunes doesn't have it up yet.
I went to bed last night REALLY wanting a Dean/Becky hook up down the line. I think I even had it half-plotted. It involved a lot of moping, self-pitying, missing feeling like Sam needs him Dean.
Stupid needing to sleep.
But Becky is a rapist. How dare you trivialise women raping men?
Did she actually do anything? Or just drug him and hang out with him? I don't know what technically has to happen to fit the definition. I was imagining him bespelled, but the offense being that Becky kept him as a platonic husband. My SPN verse is very strange.
I finally got to watch and I loved that episode. I love all those 4th wall episodes. In the beginning I was imagining the first few scenes as post Jared/Jen fic conversations between he and Jensen. And sort of the end too where Dean talks about protecting Sam from groupies.
And plus, who wouldn't want a fantasy marriage to Sam? He would be an awesome husband to show off to your friends.
I loved the scenes with Crowley, I liked seeing the boys fight demons again, and I liked them back together again.
I could totally see criticism of making your fans out to be psycho losers, but I don't really see myself as a loser or anyone else that I know that's a fan. And honestly, who hasn't thought that life would be so much better if you could just make someone you care about see the world your way. I had a whole thing with that this week. I didn't actually drug anyone to make it happen, but I don't think most people - fans or otherwise - would.
She said something along the lines of "we haven't consummated because true love waits." So she did not actually rape him, though I guess she was working up her nerve.
The thing that I like about the 4th wall episode is that the fans are never actually losers. They may be eccentric, internet savvy and focused on details, but they are people that I would hang out with. I've never been offended by SHOW's portrayal of fans. The fans usually end up saving the day or looking at the BOYS as if the BOYS are crazy. If everyone involved with the show can still see the humanity and heart in the most "eccentric and focused" fans, then I love them all the more. Because honestly, with Jensen's past stalker(s), I wouldn't have blamed him from saying, "hell no, I'm not doing this episode."
As soon as Becky appeared though, I knew there would be rabid fangirls. Get over it. We all have a little Becky in us.
