Two dollar night at a local brewery and live blues (two dollars for ALL the beers! Total!!). Got back just in time to think "Wow, Becky is aging badly" and wonder about the very specialness of the car scene. I think I'm being weirded out by the smiling and the laughing and how fake it all seems (or me just not being used to seeing it).

Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
I thought Becky looked fine.
What car scene do you mean?
the very final scene when they're leaning against the dodge and talking about Dean taking care of himself and Sam being a hippy camper.
Maybe it was the bright sunshine.
Dean was forcing his smile at the end but that was just to shout "I'm really not okay and able to function without you even though I think I should try and act that way."
I love Becky, but I do wish I had been a little prepared for the 4th wall to come down. I watched it with my parents and when they would start to ask a question, I had this feeling of there-is-no-way-I-can-explain-all-of-the-backstory. My mom did go "Oh NO!" when Sam woke up in bed, so they immediately tripped the Misery vibe with her. I think that is one of her squick scenes in a movie. I may never convince her to watch Supernatural again.
Well, yeah. We were supposed to feel that Dean wasn't happy to be 'free' of Sam.
Dean was forcing his smile at the end but that was just to shout "I'm really not okay and able to function without you even though I think I should try and act that way."
That was the only moment that felt genuine. The conversation preceding that felt forced in a meta way. I'll shut up now, since I haven't seen the whole ep and have been up since 3am.
Just finished here and I'm not sure what to say. Did like getting an explanation of the lack of demons. And Crowley in general. May need a rewatch cause that is really all I've got.
Crowley was hot like burning tonight. This makes me feel dirty.
And I thought Becky looked really cute tonight. But it made me want to watch Ginger Snaps.
I kind of hated seeing Becky turn super-stalker. Not how I thought of the character. Other than that I mostly liked it. Also, things really are kind of in place for them finish off Leviathan. They have two known ways of disabling the things - head removal and borax. Also spells, but even though they cast spells all the time they are apparently not doing anything to research the one spell they saw paralyze a Leviathan for days at a time with their own eyes. Or even make a cautious approach to the witch they saw cast it. I mean they have made deals with Crowley, but don't even think about doing a deal with the witch who saved their lives? And if they need it, I'll bet Crowley hates Leviathan enough to help them beyond leaving them alone.
