[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

So, what Matt, you're thinking that Bobby is a Leviathan now? Because if he was, he wouldn't have snuck Sam out of the hospital, he'd've killed him right then.
Unless I'm missing another conclusion.
Honestly, I would have been happier if he'd killed the boy, too.
I think I have to agree. I mean, we have tons of evidence that Dean is a soft touch for kids and of course we shouldn't expect him to actually murder a child, monster or not (look at Jesse -- he actually stood against Castiel to protect Jesse). But, from Dean's perspective, this kid is undeniably a monster, so the fact that he left him alive means that humans are going to die because of it.
And Sam was being unquestionably naive -- when he was tracking Amy through the woods (and how cool was that scene?) she was hunting. So as much as she may say she's done killing, well, no.
And people keep reacting to her last name. What am I missing with the "Pond"?
Amy Pond is the current Doctor's companion.
I don't think Bobby is a leviathan, at least not now. They seem pretty focused on killing the Winchesters, and he had plenty of opportunities. I can't see the benefit of waiting, not after having them alone in a cabin in Montana for three weeks.
Dean's soft touch for kids, and what he did tonight, is why I think he's really shutting down somehow. It's infinitely more merciful to kill the kid quick than to leave him alone with his mom's dead body, and he doesn't have the same survival training even Sam had at his age.
Honestly, that feels like a writing mistake. The Dean would know would have killed him, or he would have left both of them alive. At least in my understanding of him.
I think Dean's decision to go off and kill Amy had a lot to do with perhaps an idea that when people (Sam, Castiel) don't listen to him, bad things happen. I'm almost concerned that Dean may be swinging back toward black & white thinking like dear old Dad.
In Bloodlust, Dean told Sam, "Our job is to hunt monsters", and Sam responded, "No, our job is to hunt evil."
Then again, at the time, Lenore et al weren't killing people, and Amy did but only to save her son.
Still, I have to wonder if it wouldn't be prudent to ally with friendly monsters as a way of fighting the leviathans.
Just wacky speculation. Carry on.
Good episode. I liked it, and Wee!Sam was awesome!

Thanks, Stephanie. I don't watch Dr. Who, so I'm not in the loop on all things Who-ville related.
I was so happy to see Colin Ford's name in the credits.
I am also worried about Dean. Wasn't he willing to save the baby shifter? He was the one who defended the shifter against Samuel, right? I saw this decision as an indication that Dean is really, truly not doing well. If Amy had to die in his eyes, then - he knew Amy had a son - leaving him alive to seek vengeance later seems sloppy.
eta: and you are welcome! I stopped watching Who a while back but somehow Amy and Rory are known to me.

I think that's the way I have to interpret it, too. DEAN. Oh, baby. Also, Missouri would totally whack you with a spoon right now.
Oh my goodness. NotSoWee!Sam. Part way through this episode, I thought it was going to be a dud. But by the ending I was so captivated by the Sam back story and how much internal fortitude that boy had/has. Oh Sam! If only we had known you had fallen in love with a monster as a young boy. How did that mess with his head when he was hunting after that. I need to hug him.
Another, "you shouldn't be around my dad when he's been drinking" bomb. Sigh.
Oh Dean! You know Sam can't forgive you for that, right? You really are your worst enemy.
Only one question. "cake, it's close enough". Sammy, you know Dean needs his pie. Why are you being such a brother?
