You're nice, and you're funny and you don't smoke, and okay, werewolf, but that's not all the time. I mean, three days out of the month, I'm not much fun to be around, either.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

When Katie was Ruby, she would have played that like "Gee, that's really too bad you and your brother aren't all huggy these days. I'm heartbroken. Yeah, that's the ticket." polishes fingernails

My guess is that her not doing this is intended as an anvil that she is not being honest.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Is Sam being used by Castiel (and presumably God) to force Dean to his mission? Is that why Cas freed Sam and made it look like a demon did it?

Or is Sam being used to force the apocalypse? Do they want to provoke the Final Battle? Is that what Castiel wanted to warn Dean about?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I do think the side that's giving Castiel his orders is actually pushing for the apocalypse, and I think they've set Dean up as the patsy, him and Castiel both, Dean as the guy to push the final button and Castiel as the being who guides and goads him into doing it. I think Sam is actually trying to stop it, and Ruby may be helping--I don't know why she would be on the side of mankind's continued existence, but I'm leaning toward that motivation for her.

Zacharia and his ilk are tired of humanity's screwups and want to purge the cosmos of us--the questions are, are the angels on the side of God--and is God at home, or has he been deposed, or has he scarpered off under his own will for greener fields elsewhere, leaving his minions to run the store?

Was there a promo for next week? I don't think my dvr got it, if so. I'll give it...14 and a half minutes before it's up on YouTube. If it's not there already.

IMDB has Smith's bio in IMDBPro, and I'm not paying to join. Aldis Hodge is locked away there, too--I can't find out his birth date.

Anyway. She was at the LA? con, or maybe one not long before that one, with Richard Speck, Gabe Tigerman, and Traci Dinwiddie, and mentioned having a baby not long before. She looked fabulous in fan photos of the con, but not racehorse slender the way she looked in her press photos and onscreen, pre-baby.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I think that anything that encourages the boys to be in opposition to one another is NOT GOOD. So both the angels and the demons are bad, and whatever it was in Sam's brain (or outside it) that gave him that vision of Mary telling him the Dean was weak--that was also wrong.

Dean's stronger than Sam realizes. And Sam's righter than Dean knows.

But I'm still worried about Bobby.

Also, why the hell didn't Dean tell Sam what Castiel said about what it would take to kill Lilith?

Also also, I WISH they would stoop having anyone other than Dean call Castiel "Cas". It's just wrong.

nods

It really is jarring. I mean, in crackfic, I may like the prospect of angels hanging out at the watercooler and shooting the breeze and using diminutives, but in canon I really pretty much want them to be ANGELS.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Didn't Uriel even call him 'Cas' at one point?

Man, that was a harrowing episode. I love that Sam and Dean and Castiel are all apparently doing the wrong things for what they see as the right reasons.

As for Ruby, I don't trust her any further than I could throw the Chrysler building, but I rather like the idea that she is trying to stop the Apocalypse. Perhaps her little fry-loving self simply likes Earth more than Hell.

(Yes, I have re-read "Good Omens" recently.)

Oh, God - I would love to be able to hold out some hopes for having Team Winchester go up against the angels AND the demons - Sam and Dean, with their runaway demon and (fallen?) angel being the only people out there to STOP the apocalypse. Would be awesome. The four of them in the Metallicar, on the road, eating fries, singing Bohemian Rhapsody in the manner of Wayne's World...

ignores pesky bleak canon

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

"You've got dog racing, Manchester United, and you've got people... billions of people walking around like Happy Meals with legs. It's all right here. But then, someone comes along with a vision. With a real... passion for destruction. Angel could pull it off. Goodbye Piccadilly, farewell Leicester-bloody-Square."
