And I've never had them before, but you can bet I will order them the next time I see them on a menu.
Dean said "fried pickle chips", I thought. Which narrows it down a little.
I'm trying to think where I can try some. I know they have fried pickles at the fall festival in my hometown. I wonder if those are sliced like this. Surely, they don't deep fry a whole pickle. I know I have seen fried pickles on a menu. Dang it.
Fried pickle chips are soooo yummy. But, they're fried, so of course they're yummy.
Fried pickle chips are on the menu at several restaurants in Tallahassee and I've seen them around other places in Florida so I'm going to guess it's a Southernish thing.
There's a restaurant in town that drives me crazy because their menu makes it sound like they invented the deep fried pickle.
I think I was in Oklahoma or Arkansas when I saw them. I know they would have them at the state fair where it's a challenge to see what different things can be deep fried, but --fair is over for the year.
I had mine at a southern rib joint up in New Hampshire (Smokey Bones).
Someone is wrong on the internet. I don't even know this person. Why do I care that he or she keeps insisting that Carry on My Wayward son is played ALL THE TIME, not just finales(ish)? Because he or she is wrong on the internet, that's why.
