I think I was in Oklahoma or Arkansas when I saw them. I know they would have them at the state fair where it's a challenge to see what different things can be deep fried, but --fair is over for the year.
Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
I had mine at a southern rib joint up in New Hampshire (Smokey Bones).
Someone is wrong on the internet. I don't even know this person. Why do I care that he or she keeps insisting that Carry on My Wayward son is played ALL THE TIME, not just finales(ish)? Because he or she is wrong on the internet, that's why.
And because it took me all of two seconds to google this [link] I'm also irritated with the commentors who have failed to provide a link.
I @@ at myself.
Because I can't stop playing the final scene over and over again for the Evil!Misha, I'm still wibbly from the way Cas growls "LEVIATHAN".
And I'm struck with how huge it was that not only did Dean leave Sam to his own devices, because there was a world to be saved, but that he didn't immediately ditch Cas once the crisis was averted, and then sent Bobby to get Sam when Cas started to freak out.
I was confused last year or the year before and waited on the song for the opening. But as soon as ita ! said that it was only at the finale, the light bulb went on and I was like, "Oh yeah."
Driving four hours on Wednesday, as I neared home I heard Carry On, Hotel California, and one more that made me think of a Boys road trip. I can't remember the third song.
[link] I had to see what they looked like. Then I had to play the clip over and over. The chips are almost like he is eating plain pickles but I would imagine the actor may have requested that because bite after bite of deep fried anything might tend to make you sick.
Bad news: Demian's still doing Shows recaps. Good news: the recaplet had not a drop of vitriol in it. I'll see how long that lasts.
In my misguided foray into fandom yesterday morning, I stumbled across a comment that speculated "what if Lucifer isn't lying". Which I'd hate, because it would mean that the things we went through last season and the things we are going through now never happened. But the speculation was couched in the humorous "really, Sammy? Fairies? And you thought that was *real*?"
Also, as far as Lucifer creating a fake world to fuck with Sam, you'd think it would have been a little nicer (unless Luci's so smart (he watched The Matrix) to realize Sam wouldn't have believed in a world where things were a little rosier.
Reappearing after a long lurk to say I loved the opener. It left me with lots to think about.
As for Lucifer, I wonder if he didn't ride out of Hell with Sam. Could he be Sam's dark passenger? I'm intrigued by the idea and handled well it could be really interesting (or even fun in a dark twisted way).
Also, right on to everything said about the over-investment by fandom. I'm avoiding reading anything anywhere else because the bitterness is all too much. It's the writer's story to tell. I'm along for the ride. When it stops being fun, I'll get off the SPN bus. Meanwhile, I'm intrigued.
I could see Lucifer riding along in Sam's head, but there's no way the writers would pull a "it was all a dream". They know the fandom too well for that.

This is one of those things that has me running a comparison of Castiel's arc to Sam's. Cas seemed to be okay at the end, but had an unexpected passenger. The same might be true of Sam. Similarly, both of them teamed up with a demon because he saw it as the only way. There's other things I'm seeing as parallels, but I'm still looking them over to see how much weight my theory holds.

I don't think so. Death flat-out stated that Lucifer was in the Cage tormenting Sam's soul in 6.11, and I don't buy that Lucifer would be able to hitch a ride out with it without him noticing.
