Oh, yeah. There was this time I was pinned down by this guy that played left tackle for varsity... Well, at least he used to before he was a vampire... Anyway, he had this really, really thick neck, and all I had was a little, little Exact-O knife ... You're not loving this story.

Because books.

Thanks, Julie!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Okay, Julie, I read the rest of apokteino's trilogy, and it's not what you're thinking of. But it is massively fucked up. And I checked the warnings--possible dub con. Yet? In the story? Seems so aware of being messed up and complicated.

I mean, it's different from the Cas-fellating-Colt story because we actually get a number of different POVs, but it seems pretty clear in the story that Cas is the only one that doesn't think there are consent issues. Weird.

Julie, you're brave to write asexual in fandom, but, yeah, in the end you gotta tell your story, not the possible story of everyone reading.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Thanks ita.

And to respond to your first post that outed me (bitch, I have an ulcer now, even though I feel much much better) I am delighted to hear that you're unsure what to root for! I think that was one of the nicest comments I've gotten. I still can't believe the fucking fluff I'm writing. . .

Actually, no, the nicest thing you said was that after being unimpressed with the D/C out there, you singled out mine. I'm fucking flabbergasted.

Am now reading apokteino's third fic because of you, damnit (still not seeing how it relates to the other two).

You must be thinking of other work by her. Bone starts of with Dean torturing Cas. It's all very much the same story. Messed up. No rape, though.

Take compliments where you can get 'em!

Huh.

Oh. Oh! Okay, now I remember which story we're in. The one where Dean tortures Cas into loving him. Okay. That one was slightly less, a lot less, horrific than the one I was thinking of. This makes so much more sense.

Take compliments where you can get 'em!

thanks again! This didn't turn out like my paranoid mind envisioned. Seriously, ulcer.

Complete left turn: Does anyone know what happens if you get arrested for hustling/hooking when you're an adult? Like, is there actual jail time involved?

I would imagine even in states that only have fines and probation, the arrest itself would result in a night in lock-up until one could make bail.

The one where Dean tortures Cas into loving him.

And he feels like shit for it, but loving Cas is all he can do to make up for it, plus they got entwined in hell, so it's not simple Stockholm syndrome. But it is definitely a sort of that. In addition, Lima syndrome.

Those crazy boys.

Lima syndrome?

Never mind -- looked it up. I'd never heard of that.

Ha! My first thought was "they break into impromptu musical numbers at the drop of a hat?"
