The fic has a sort of middle of the road ending. Not schmoop, not angst, not HEA. It's kinda...flat. Also, a whole unexplored background infrastructure.

I didn't mind that the ending wasn't happy with a bow on it. It just offended me in lots of little ways, even though some of the ideas were so close to what I would imagine for an AU where there are RL consequences, and to what I'd like out of a superhero AU.

I also don't get the wanting of a different body because it's more powerful, except that it's not powerful enough to stop the bad guy in the old/current body.

I did like the parts where Dean was breaking down as he began to suspect Cas, and how he wasn't all AWESOME WINGS!.

I'm still annoyed by Gabriel's presence. Although, well done for me not realizing that Sam and Gabe were the guns in the first act. That might just be me being lazy, though.

I'm in the mood to make a D/C playlist again, since I never did it the first time it occurred to me.

My problem with the "happiness" of the outcome is that Sam suffered where Sam didn't deserve suffering. In a D/C story, that leaves me with a bitter taste in my mouth. In a Sam-centric story, then maybe it would have been worked up for more impact.

And, seriously, I think you need to deal with you being an assbattery for your boyfriend who everyone thinks is abusing you. They kinda skimmed over that.

Also, it's "another think coming". I don't care about migrating usage.

God, I forgot all about the issues raised of Cas possibly being an abusive boyfriend. I was too focused on the later unexplained implications that Cas was powering up on Dean, not that it did him much good, whether Cas knew he was doing it, and what the hell was meant by Gabriel implying that Cas would fuck Dean into a pile of dust/ashes (or something). But, yeah, the hell?

Amy, need some help with that, or will you be surprising us with a mix soon? Not that I've come up with many specific D/C songs since the last time the subject come up.

However, I do love the words assbattery and buttbattery. They could have me giggling forever. Still, how was Cas powering up before they slept together? And how could you ever trust his motivation?

I have to admit to reading that. It was, as Plei calls, a total Train Rec. So baffling and weird and squirmy and WRONG.

i'm actually glad, Amy, as I went and looked and I have nothing. I can imagine it being awkward dealing with other people's taste in music and whatnot. Looking forward to hearing what you come up with!

ita and her little finger, I, um, actually read that, and at first it was so vague and delicate that I thought Dean was perhaps a hermaphrodite or something. The author seemed very afraid to actually directly address the subject, although Dean was very Dean throughout. But I never bought the strap-on and Dean going out of his way to be a man-whore when he wasn't actually getting off. And Sam's sudden obsession struck me as wrong, like, if Sam found out that Dean was actually a girl, and was suddenly sexually attracted to him as well as in love, how shallow and fucked up that would be. You know, beyond the norm.
