I once wrote a bandom fic where most of them were penguins.
Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
I am honestly curious about your inspiration for this. Did you just one day wake up and think, "penguins, that's the ticket!"?
It was the news story about the two male penguins adopting an egg. PERFECT for bandom. I don't think it's still linked anywhere, though.
I've read that D/C, I realise. I mean, them being penguins and adopting an egg. Dear lord.
Why is your fic cyan on white? How can that be a remotely good idea?
Going for the trifecta:
Sometimes, a cigar is just a cigar. I don't like Bela. I thought she was crap, but that doesn't make me sexist. I thought Crowley was better written and better acted, and I was never on a lovefest for Gabriel.
What's cyan again?
I still think Bela could have been a really interesting foil for Sam and Dean, and they just wrote her crappy. I'm fonder of her (wasted) potential than I am of the actual character.
Mark Sheppard could recite the phone book and make it amusing, though, so I'm inclined to like any character he plays, at least for a little while. And I do think they got Crowley's combination of laissez faire evil and vain self-interest and general mischief just right.
CYAN
If Gabriel wins against the boys--he's an archangel/god. Crowley is the master of the crossroads. They outpower the boys. Also, the boys were suitably suspicious of and pretty hostile towards them at all times.
Bela played them like a cheap penny whistle for no good reason, and it wasn't fun for me, and didn't serve my narrative needs. So when she wins at every turn, except suddenly the fateful last, enh. I feel protective of my boys--and she wasn't played with an overwhelming charisma, so I didn't like it despite myself.
CYAN
Not the best contrast with white.
Well, that would be blinding, yeah.
