Wash: So, two days in a hospital? That's awful. Don't you just hate doctors? Simon: Hey. Wash: I mean, present company excluded. Jayne: Let's not be excluding people. That'd be rude.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If Gabriel wins against the boys--he's an archangel/god. Crowley is the master of the crossroads. They outpower the boys. Also, the boys were suitably suspicious of and pretty hostile towards them at all times.

Bela played them like a cheap penny whistle for no good reason, and it wasn't fun for me, and didn't serve my narrative needs. So when she wins at every turn, except suddenly the fateful last, enh. I feel protective of my boys--and she wasn't played with an overwhelming charisma, so I didn't like it despite myself.

CYAN

Not the best contrast with white.

Because books.

Well, that would be blinding, yeah.

New SPN comic. Sam goes to ... wait, do we have to spoiler font this stuff?

I really want to catch up on the comics. Someday.

:( That cover doesn't look like Jared, and I don't want Sam to go to places without Dean.

Yes, am petulant. What's new?

Okay, back to reading an epic story that I don't know if I'll like because it's Dean-has-powers and for some reason that irritates me. But...nobody published much D/C today, and I need my fix.

Man, I'm still laughing about the penguin story. I wonder how many slash fandoms that got written in?

I have to say, my penguin story was awesome. I had a grin on my face all day.

Do you have a link to the D/C one?

It's cloudy-jenn. And it's adorable.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The mention of penguins has made me sad, because I checked up on Wendell and Cass and found out that Cass died some time ago. But Wendell was the timid one that was afraid of everything! Who'll protect him now when the other penguins get all pushy?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

and found out that Cass died some time ago.

I did not!

Kinda sad that gay penguin me did though. Even if I never registered that we shared a name until a minute ago.

There was another gay penguin couple with different names, too, iirc.

I started reading a Dean/Ruby out of boredom, and it's really hot. I'm sort of ashamed at how much I like it. I think it's the realism of it, though. They're very adamantly Not In Love, just taking comfort in each other.

The epic Dean-has-powers D/C fic was long as fuck, but it handled his powers in a way that kept him the Dean I love so much. But I was reading when I really should have been sleeping.

I recently read a fic where the author uses the phrase "profound bond" in it, which cracks me up, because it was written way before Show used it. But she wasn't describing D/C. Still, it was weird to see, given the newfound context.
