Zoe: Yeah? Thought you'd get land crazy that long in port. Wash: Probably, but I've been sane a long while now, and change is good.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I think I read that one. There's a scene where Sam sees Cas and Dean out the window in an intimate moment, and realizes he has to leave Cas?

The one I'm thinking of is by someone sounding like ryanblackthorne.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yeah, and Dean is drunk and doesn't remember it for forever. I liked that one.

I had something tracked by ryanblackthorn, but LJ is being a bitch and I can't tell you what it is. And neither of those LJ names is correct.

Quick picture question: If one of D or C is naked and one is fully clothed: votes: which is which

Well, if we're talking about something close to canon I think clothed C/naked D is far more likely to happen since D actually sleeps, bathes, etc.

My vote would be for the opposite though, since I can see C not actually having a nudity taboo or being rendered in any way vulnerable by the lack of clothing.

Yeah, that's the one I think I'm thinking about with Sam being shifty with Jess, not Ruby.

Yeah, I knew it was a canon woman, was just likening it to Sam's canon douchiness with Ruby wrt Dean. Except with extra douchiness. But I flove all the understatedness and the inbetween-the-lines-ness of it.

On the flipside of Cas not having a problem with nudity is the little nugget stuck in my brain from fic: that Cas heals his clothing like his body, that the clothes are as a part of the vessel as Jimmy's skin and hair, so doing without is weird.

And I love the idea of Dean, once on board with him and Cas, being king of being comfortable with his body and his sexuality. And if he's not on board, then being cocky about it to hide his insecurities, jumping all in with a smirk.

While I don't think that would apply to angels in general with living hosts, we really don't know what Castiel's physical manifestation is now. It may just be psychic energy that takes on the appearance of his self image (or rather, his image of his prior physical manifestation) like a particularly solid ghost when needed.

This makes me happy. And deals with that pesky vessel problem (Oh, Jimmy!).

Because books.

I like naked Dean/clothed Cas, although I really don't object to the other way around either. Like, ever.

Question: What's everyone's favorite Big Bang so far? Rec me! But give me the pairing and an AU heads-up, too.

If you're into J2, Amy, avoid the Ladyhawke fusion like the plague. I've never read so many "dudes!" in my life. I mostly skimmed, because I couldn't help myself, and while I appreciated Isabeau's role not being quite so damsel-in-distress, it was truly awful. Even if Misha as Philippe was amusing.

Nothing has struck me so far as anything memorable.
