Because books.

You're so mean to Dean. Not that he'd be good with a girlfriend anyway.

I do want the Impala fixed. And possibly long lingering shots of Jensen working on it, sweaty and smudged with motor oil. That's certainly not too much to ask.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Dean takes the Impala to a chain mechanic to have it fixed while he goes into a residential facility to have his alcoholism treated. What's Sera's address again?

Did I watch the show wrong again? Oops.

I kinda want to tell gedry to stop curing Dean. Aggressive teetotaller Dean is not why I stick around.

Because books.

I am wondering what they're going to do, though.

They've already done: unknown family appearing (twice -- Samuel and the others, and Adam), a possible secret! baby, Dean going civilian, Sam going evil(ish), a both of them dying, friends and colleagues dying, stopping the apocalypse ...

I just don't want Castiel to be the Big Bad, or at least not for long.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Do they have a theoretical end date any longer (like Kripke had a five-year story to tell) or is it as many seasons as they can get now? Where we are in the story colors my take on what I'd like to see.

Because books.

I don't know if they're signed beyond this season, but Jared said in that interview that he would do the show as long as fans and the CW wanted it.

I'm not sure Sera had more than a one-season plan, either, although I assume she knows where the coming season will go now.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Really I would not not mind a next season where the Castiel thing is resolved quickly and then it is all MOTW.

I think they need to battle their inner demons. Because we've never seen that.

So I just finished up reading a D/C where they're pop singing proteges in love. I used to think J2 was where all the crack lived, but, seriously, this one author will write any AU ever.

And? I liked it. I am that much of a sucker for my ship.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'd like to see them interacting more/more profoundly with non-hunters on their various cases, and actually managing to save people in addition to destroying monsters as the cherry on top of a pile of victims' corpses. Also, recurring allies, friends, or whatever besides Bobby that don't immediately get killed for shock value. And if one of those friends/allies could be Cas, swell.
