I guess all more I could have asked for was Tessa reappearing to say "Big D says thanks, but better luck next time!" but in two hours they hit everything people were complaining about made no sense and wasn't going anywhere consistent. And it was pretty much two things--purgatory+souls+raphael+crowley, and the wall. With bonus resolution of Lisa and Ben (god, that stings to type).
eta: I've read some fixit fic already, BTW. I suspect there will be a consistent...ah...tone to D/C fic for a little while, those that are set currently.
I don't read D/C, but I can only imagine that they would take an awful LOT of fixing at this point. Or a lot of kneeling. Depending upon your author.
Nah, she did it pretty simply. They talked him down in the same scene. It was pretty decently done.
However, I do want to read some Consort Dean fics over the summer, please. Put him in a collar and have him feed Cas grapes.
I wonder if it will change what I draw. Probably not.
I just want the epic Head Like a Hole vid that MUST COME OUT over this summer.
hey, remember when the Winchesters thought they were screwed because the FBI was after them?
While wondering where this "Castiel as God" storyline could go I've been talking myself down from some ugly Jasmine flashbacks.
I wonder if the God will show up in season 7.
I wonder if God!Cas will get new threads.
Hmm, maybe next season will start by bursting the bubble, and suddenly Cas starts short-circuiting, allowing the boys to escape. And Cas alternates between drunk-on-power megalomaniacal and a normal Cas who wants the boys to save him from himself, get the power out safely, or something.
Bobby lived!
Dean, I hope you had Cas get rid of the dead body at Lisa's house and had him take care of everyone else's memories and provided the necessary paperwork and the totaled car.
Oh, how it hurt that he said he was the driver that hit them. Not just a random visitor, but someone who could say "Sorry" and "this was my fault".

Very much this, yes.
On the mind-wipe issue, I love that Sam called Dean out
immediately
on how shitty a thing it was to do. I do not think Dean would have reacted as strongly (complete with threats of physical violence) if he also didn't know it was truly awful. As for the dead boyfriend and the details needed to support the story, for my own peace of mind, I'm going to assume Cas took care of the whole nine yards in an attempt to show Dean how reasonable he was being.
Also, with the mind-wipe, I am imagining a cut scene after Lisa woke up where Dean got her and Ben's buy-in on the memory loss deal.
Cas is totally the bitter dumped guy going to the reunion so he can see the ex's reaction now that he's grown up to be a rich neurosurgeon with a vacation home in Hawaii just like he said he would.
