Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm always "big brave Sam!" And wondering if the author will break canon and write in Dean. Or mess with "canon" and let Dean talk to him two years before the pilot.

Because books.

It makes me wonder what everyone's individual fanon is, too.

For me, for just one example, Sam was in college for nearly four years. He was a senior, since he was 22 and applying to law school, and Dean's reference to not bothering Sam for two years just means that two years ago was the last time he tried to call or make contact.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Darren Criss is cute as the proverbial button and sings really well, but alpha he is very decidedly NOT.

Yeah. I totally would have voted for him over Jensen if the category was "best singer," but you'd have to resort to the guys from Big Bang Theory to find competitors that he should legitimately out-alpha.

Since Kripke meant to say four years, I actually prefer when people don't have Dean talking to him at all, but what aired is what aired, and the letter of the law is as valid as the intent.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

JIB report. For those who haven't already seen or read it. Sorry about all the flash on the page, but she has some interesting things to say. She's always been a dedicated Jensen fan, has had little interest in Jared, and till now had pretty much no opinion on Misha. Italian is her first language, but her English is charming.

I was most interested in the comparison she makes between Jensen when she saw him at a con four years ago, and now.

She also took and posted several JIB vids.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

He's different from the one I met four years ago in England. Shy doesn't apply to him anymore. He is still reserved about his private life, but now, he is resolute, he knows how to handle even the most awkward questions without being rude. I think he is one of the most polite persons I have ever met. He is also self assured. Basically this is the biggest difference. Back then at Asylum I saw a shy guy, nervous and not at ease. In this con I saw a handsome, brilliant, funny, witty, sarcastic young man who doesn't hide and is not scared anymore. He was relaxed and he was having fun.

I think we solved the mystery of why I didn't see this person, well, in person. I haven't seen him in four years. He didn't have the self assurance that he has now and he definitely wasn't the leader of the group back then. A lot of times, he looked to Jared for support, now it's evident that he is comfortable. The only thing that I would disagree with the poster is she says something about his star quality not being learned, but I don't know what else would explain the transformation that is evidenced as you go through years of panel footage.

I suspect that if I met him today, and he knew he was "on", then I would be just as star struck. Finally, I am normal again.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Darren Criss beat David Boreanaz at one point, I remember.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Is this the universe without shrimp?!!

How is that possible?

eta: Because I had that delayed reaction, how do you get a freakin private mass at the Vatican? Maybe it's not as special as I, a non catholic, imagine, but doesn't that seem like a big deal?

Growing up?

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Exactly. Growing and learning to be comfortable in his own skin due to experience. But it's still learning.
