You two carried me through that war. Now I need you to carry me just a little bit further. If you can.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Based on "Hollywood Babylon" I'd definitely say Dean should be the geekier of the two when it comes to entertainment and pop culture. Which caused me to be slightly irked at how he's portrayed to look down on acting and showbiz in "The French Mistake" since it had previously been demonstrated that's a lifestyle he'd be suited for/happy in if not for the monsters that need killing.

Because books.

I think he gets a pass since he woke up in another person's body, in a whole other world.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think I'm going to imagine Dean having a mancrush on The Boss. It pleases me.

Because books.

Completely! I can hear him singing along with "Thunder Road" and "Badlands" now.

I imagine him fanboying and dressing like this.

Because books.

I think Darkness era is more his usual style, but I can see it.

Well, I know jackshit about Springsteen, honestly.

I just like thinking about Dean's ass in those jeans.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

podcast episode where they discuss Supernatural. Note: I have not listened to it so I cannot vouch for quality.

I'm from NJ, so it's like a law that you have to have every album down by heart. Sorry!

Dean's ass in those jeans is a fine thing to imagine. Darkness is just a grittier album than Born in the USA.

Adorable picture of Jared and Adrianne Palicki on set. From WIaWSNB, it says.

Okay, those podcast guys spent too long talking about things not Supernatural. I got bored.

Jared is so big! And Adrianne is not small!

I have to admit, I was very chuffed when Dean used the names Cliff and Marley in MBV. My music! Most of the stuff he cites goes way over my head. I did see a remarkable number of people on LJ saying no way was that reggae he was referring to, because that would be OOC.

Oh, right. There's another Cliff and Marley that has nothing to do with reggae, but still to do with music? Step off, and let Jamaica have its moment. It's not like Sam and Dean are going to tackle a duppy or a rolling calf any time soon.
