"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Isn't the impala toolkitted out with protective sigils and such? You'd think that would prevent a ghost from taking possession of it.

But they didn't have to make any hard choices or have to come up with a solution. It was taken care of for them. Neat. Bodies notwithstanding (which will be disappeared in a tidy manner).

I remember Sam drawing something on the inside of the trunk lid, but that was before Dean rebuilt it. I don't know what was done since then. But you'd think they'd have incorporated whatever safeguards they could.

I think they were to prevent demons from getting at the colt?

Also, cool music here at the end.

Yeah, I was noticing the music too.

Yes, if you mean the demons not getting the colt in reference to Sam drawing on the trunk lid, I think that was the episode where Meg was demanding the colt as ransom for John. Sam was planning on leaving it safely in the trunk, but Dean ultimately insisted on taking it with them.

Wow, that was a really abbreviated snippet of the promo.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Longer promo.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Longer promo.

That was pretty awesome!

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I'm super excited for the longer promo episode.

This week. I need to see it again. Once we got into Lisa and Dean and Ben, I wasn't able to focus on the big picture. Ben telling Dean that Dean was leaving his family gutted me. Seriously. Because kids say and feel over the top things like that and think if they say it, the parents will change their minds. Also, because after a year of playing house, it was true. God, I hate this turn of events.

Dean says he has a heartbroken kid and a woman that is pissed at him. I'm kind of pissed at him as well. I mean, I understand where he is coming from, but it's hitting my buttons and I'm having a hard time looking at Dean the same way. I really, really wish they weren't going down this road with Dean.

Promo for next week is hilarious. "So now you're Polish?" I need some funny after this week. Actually I need Sera to undo what they just did with Dean. I'm going to be so sad if I can't like him anymore.

I'm pretty sure we're not going to get an undo. I'd wager kittens that Dean/Lisa are over.

Personally, I think they should be, because real Dean's not good for a family yet. I think Dean-replacing-Sam can be a great father figure, and providing Ben didn't notice Dean was miserable and medicating like a mofo, things would be great. But he's deeply broken, and he's manifestly dangerous.

The episode felt awkward around that bit, like they should have said a bit more to give it full closure, but I felt it was a long time coming, and I'm glad there was some talk. Sad for all involved, but I think it was for the best.

The bromance was in full swing this week. I absolutely adored the SamandDean interactions. Dean needs this so badly. He's not remotely healthy. And he gets that, what with the pills (are we to guess he's self-medicated with prescription drugs before? when?) and the urging to alcoholism. But he has his brother back, and that's his favourite crutch.

I like a partially failed mission too. I'm trying to think back to others of this character--Heart? What else? Sure, the world is safe from this MotW threat from this moment on, but they had an innocent right there, and they lost her. Also made me think of all those Dean-donates-a-kidney-to-Sam fics, and made them a little creepier.

I am *so* psyched for next week, you can't even believe. I wept tears of disbelieved hilarity the first time I watched that clip, and I couldn't even hear the audio. I love Dean and Sam's confused faces, and Misha's everything faces.
